It seems that nobody has ever archive this footage before until now. The closest are for the premiere commercial uploaded by CyberPhoenix1989 (check it out). • Video
I'm sorry I have no choice to set this to "made for kids."
In late August of 2007, Cartoon Network ran a programming block known as Fried Dynamite, a Friday night and Saturday morning block starting with a bunch of kids (in which we may never see them ever again) which replaced by Friday, a spiritual successor to Cartoon Cartoon Friday block. I never quite sure what got Cartoon Network’s decision to have these kids going around at the Cartoon Network’s office building. I vaguely remember if I sort of like this block back then. If anything, Cartoon Cartoon Friday and Friday are way more enjoyable and will forever be remembered. Watching it now at the current ages of 26, it’s rather quite dull and not entertaining at all since these kids are trying WAY too hard to be “cool” and “hip”. 2007 was an odd year for Cartoon Network, but it did slowly get worst in 2009 when Cartoon Network are getting into some live action. In late September, Cartoon Network planned on premiering a new Halloween specials of Out of Jimmy's Head, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends in 3-D on October 12 and a 3-D trailer for an upcoming video game known as Thrillvile: Off the Rails (sponsored?). Also, Cartoon Network released a flash game based on a commercial as Cheese Quest 3D - The Brother Lady Saga. In order the watch it in 3-D, Cartoon Network released a printable flyer for kids to have their parents' permission to order up to 4 pairs of 3-D glasses absolutely free. Once signed, they would send it though fax machine. After that, the glasses will be sent to you by mail on an envelope with 3-D glasses and a card promoting an upcoming 3-D movie titled: Journey 3D (a working title for Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D). Alternately, Cartoon Network also released a flyer given an instruction on how to make your own 3-D glasses.
I used one of my parents’ VHS type to record it because I knew for the fact that this 3-D version for both shows along with a trailer are merely a one-off and it will never become available on home video (more on that later). Another reason is that I really enjoyed 3-D. Yeah, I’m one of ‘those’ people. If I remember correctly, each shows majority the 3-D effect barely work than I thought it should, but most of the time, not at all. Ether the shows were never intended to be in 3-D to begin with so they attempted by emulated; was intended, but not knowing how to do it properly or it’s the kind of TV I was watching, which was a 100 inches rear-projection television in the dark room. It gets worst though, after watching it again after the video has been transfer into digital file, the 3-D effect does not anymore. I have no clue how and why, but I would suggest not trying wearing your 3-D glasses for your curiosity. Over all, it was kind a pointless.
For Out of Jimmy’s Head, it had a UK (Playback Region 2) DVD release, but only the first 3 episodes are included. The remanding 17 episodes never gotten any home video format. Luckily, all the episodes are found, but half of them are dubbed. After checking carefully, it seems the 3-D version of Ghost episode has not been found yet. I would like inform that I (partially) have the 3-D Ghost episode which will be uploaded on to Internet Archive (link in the description) and not uploaded on UA-cam for obvious reason. If you want to do it, it would be great! This episode is only missing the first few minutes before Sonny successfully created a monster to steal Jimmy’s brain. I hope someone, somewhere has the full episode. For Foster, the 3-D version available on both UA-cam and iTunes. The 3-D effect there actually worked.
