Subaru Outback Low Oil Light Reset After Oil Change

This Light came on after the Oil change. It happens if you leVt the key in the ignition when you are changing the oil. The light can also go off after you drive the car for about 5 minutes.

For anyone who doesn’t understand. This is practically resetting everything. The fuse he is messing with is the short pin/ DC cut fuse and they’re moved to the side during transit of new cars and then installed in its proper location during Processing at the dealer

My 2010 legacy just got back from a major gearbox repair, and this light came on.
I tried this procedure and it didn't help- there is enogh oil..
Any idea?
Is it possible that the fuse itself is broken?
I'm pretty sure the oil sensor is OK and something happened during their work on the car, just don't know what it was.
Update: the mechanic who repaired my gearbox cut the wire by mistake.

When I turn the key to the accessory position the fan for the radiator cycles on and off and I can hear a relay clicking under the dash and the oil light does not go off. Any ideas?

I had to add a quart of oil after a trip through the mountains and this fixed my orange warning light. Also, I tried driving it around for a few minutes and that didn't get the light to go away

Do you have enough oil in the engine?
Also did the light came on when you were driving or doing an oil change?

Just drive the car for 2 minutes and the light will go out by itself without having to do all of that.

Not all vehicles can be done that way 🤦‍♂️ some vehicles you have to put the key to the on position without starting it and push the gas pedal down slowly 3 times then take the key out then put it back in to start it...

Honda is a lot easier to reset after an oil change.
