Awesome. Video idea: what’s the first, second and third most important skills to chase for practical shooting? Get this question so would love to hear your takes.

My opinion is, if you not hit the target where you want it (in the A zone) does not matter how fast you can run or how fast your target transition is. Im my opinion the first is the grip. Second is the draw, how proper, consisten and fast you can present your gun and get the right grip on it is very important in order to place a fast accurate shot. Third is the trigger control.

Amazing little drills! I was able to cut down my transition times by 20% after just one training session!

Thanks for sharing these are great drills to use during the ammo shortage. I'm like drills like these that we can run at our range, they do not allow us to setup our own target stands. So we are limited to the ranges existing stands at 7, 20 and 25 yards.

That transition to the second to last paper off of the already shot target... in slow mo it looked faster than my normal transitions

Great class! Mason is a great instructor! My only gripe is you didn’t put footage of me shooting in your video, Ben. 😂

So I tried out the first two drills today. I did decide to make a small change in the 2nd drill. Instead of two targets I used 3 and just chose a different target start on or to transition too. That way I wasn't always moving the gun the same distance each time. It seems to me the goal (and overall goal in USPSA) is to learn to control the gun at any distance, not bake in a learned response at one distance. I also did it on a plate rack with my 22/45. Good stuff.

Great video Ben. Thanks for sharing the tips. TOTALLY unrelated (kinda) but what Tanfo did you use for his class? Limited or 9mm? Just curious.

What is the acceptable reaction time for the shot in DA and SA? I have 0.20 sec or less in SA and 0.30 sec in DA. Tanfoglio Stock 2, 8 lbs for DA.
