- I fixed a ring that was chewed up by a lovable dog. When all other jewelers said no to the repair, I had to see what could be done to save this piece of sentimental jewelry.

3:52 the random gem and hunks of gold in the crack on the lower part of the screen were probably a nice bonus find for you, lol.
Just so you know (perhaps someone has already commented), I think there might be a rogue stone wedged between your wooden working block and its mount. Wouldn't want that to get lost if it's actually a stone!
I saw that and wondered if I should mention it. Glad you did.😄
I saw that too!
Umm excuse me sir?!? The diamond has gone rogue. Sir!! You have the wrong DIAMOND!!!
I saw that, too.
I saw it at 10:53
I really appreciate how you mention jewelry is sentimental, so even if it’s not perfect it’s well worth the effort! Beautiful work here :)
That's incredible, the ring owner must be so happy!!
This dog won, paws down. Fantastic work and I’m just happy that both dogs didn’t swallow the rings or the stones.
Paws down I think I agree
You know as horrible as this is, it’s both amazing that you could even restore it and a fun story to tell. The changes from the original ring is part of that story and I believe to be a beautiful thing. Amazing work, truly.
I went back to rewatch the other ring video. This ring was in worse shape. You're definitely a miracle worker extraordinaire in the ring resurrection department.
I love that you go to get a random person's take on the dog situation 😂 good stuff, love your videos
I like how it now looks more woodsy, like twigs holding up the cluster. It's a very unique piece now with a great story attached to it. So well done, you really are a master of this craft.
those dogs have never done anything wrong in their whole life. They helped you provide great content
I love the melee and solder chip "lost" on the tenon of your bench pin.
Wow, that's expert work right here. I never thought one could save this.
I love how he modelled it on his own finger, for some reason seeing such a delicate ring on a masculine hairy finger was just perfect. That gave me a good chuckle.
I'm surprised all of the stones didn't fall out. Great job!
Awesome video! You never really know what you're getting into when you start a repair like that, so it's great to see someone committing and getting the job done :)
I work for a big company and just yesterday I was looking at a ring that a customer is claiming "just broke" in the exact same way it was broken three months ago and they're trying to claim it as a warranty job. People don't realize that a piece of jewellery tells me the whole story and I can clearly see the ring was strongly knocked on the main setting which caused the shoulders and the under rail to shift and crack. The whole thing is just bent out of shape and every stone is loose, which doesn't just happen 😅
Bravo! Great job that must have been very satisfying. I once spent 20 hours rounding out a filigree bead that was a drop on my aunt's favorite earrings. It had a confrontation with her vacuum cleaner. I'm strictly an amateur but no jeweler thought it was worth their trouble. One can't properly appreciate what it takes to work in those tiny spaces unless you have done it. I used, among other things, a nail set to round it out. When it was finished, only I could tell one from the other. Keep up the great work!
When u first showed it I kid you not my first thought was “how the heck are only two stones missing!?!” Great job!
I wanna see the customer's happy face! They must be so happy that you could fix it!
Dudes got some skills! AND patience. I hope he charged the client what that work was really worth!
Wow you're a miracle worker. I have broken or bent 3 rings in my lifetime after catching my fingers on handle doors. I just binned the rings. Not that they were worth getting them restored. Great job ❤
I enjoy watching you restore rings
Great work and fine restoration. Keep that ring away from dog’s access! My cat once swatted at a bracelet I was wearing and pulled the clasp open, separating it from the link. Had to put it away til I could get repaired years later. After that I only wear it occasionally and keep it in a drawer for preservation. Thanks for video. 👍💕 my 🐈
The ring in this video is waaaaaaay worse than the other one. What beautiful restoration job you've done. The client sure was happy to see the final result!
Beautiful ring. Glad, you could save it for her! Very interesting, to watch you work, as always.
One of my pet rats ate my husband's wedding ring. Hopefully we will one day be able to fix it!
Phenomenal work! I’m very impressed you could actually restore it!
Phenomenal repair job! You just preserved someone's memories. Thank you for sharing.
It'd be more accurate to say that he restored an important object. They'd still have their memories regardless of whether they had the object.
That's one of the better jobs I've ever seen on here and fast good job my man
Awesome 👍
I really enjoy watching a master at work 💍
Fabulous restoration.
It's a very pretty ring
I love your videos! You have this approach to your clients and their jewelry that is different than anything I’ve ever seen! Keep up with the good work 🤗
Incredible, beautiful!
Very interesting insight into an unusual aspect of the job. It's a beautiful ring, too. They must have been so happy to get it back.
I would love to do this work but I'm allergic to gold so... I'll just pet my cat and live vicariously as a Goldsmith through your videos.
Fantastic repair job 👏. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Great job! I don't think I would ever be able to repair something like that.
What a great present to have on a Friday! Always love your videos.
Is that one of the diamonds in between the bench pin and clamp? 😂 Wow, you really do great work, looks beautiful!
I would cry! You made it look good as new!
Great job! What perseverance! I think I owned this exact ring many years ago. You did an awesome job in restoring it.
Nicely done!
Great video, fascinating to watch and so satisfying seeing the final result. You're extremely talented and I can imagine the ring owner is absolutely made up as I know I would be 👍
Beautiful job
😍
Great job. Really happy to see your restoration.
Absolutely stunning repair work. We'll done Sir! 👍💕
It’s so satisfying to watch when you heat up the gold ❤️
Outstanding work. Your skills are phenomenal!
Absolutely beautiful job!
Wonderful result! I did not think one could repair anything with that amount of damage! But I am glad I was wrong! :D well done ^^
That's very skillful, I didn't think it'd be possible to make it look that good! I'm sure that client was over the moon
Beautiful restoration!!
Wonderful to see you fabricate a tool for the specific job. Awesome.
What is the chunky clear liquid with the black brush?
Excellent restoration! ♥️👏🏻
This is so satisfying to watch. Great job
Wow, fantastic job!!!!!
Woooow! That’s incredible 👏👍🫶☺️
Beautiful job!!
Gorgeous work! 😊
Incredible restoration!!!
Fabulous work
Excellent work!
It look perfect you did an amazing job!
Beautiful work, as usual.
Turned out great! Would love a little one-line at the end of the video describing the customers reaction!
True I wish I had that! I actually posted the video before it was even delivered to them in the mail, but I heard back that she was very very happy to have her ring back :)
Beautiful ring! Now your customer can enjoy it again!
I've restored a few like this and a silver bookmark that came in the post and the dog chewed the package. I've also made a pendant from a dogs tooth
Nice Work!
My dog tore my birth certificate lol I was surprised cuz she never had a chew phase, lord bless her soul. I miss her
beautiful job! this dog for sure seems a little more enthusiastic
Great job!!!
Love a restoration video! Keep up the great work :D
Wow your so talented 😍
I love your videos I hope you make more soon!! Amazing work as always! 😁
Do you think you could fix a bent hollow bracelet? Ive been turned down by many jewlers for a hollow 14k screwdriver bracelet thats been bent in a few places
Nice job 👍
nice work
Love watching your videos and what amazing talent you have. I only wish you could have shown the owner’s reaction
Amazing work! My dog has eaten three pairs of very expensive headphones, and many not so expensive!!
Wow you did great!! I was recently proposed to with a gold ring so now I know to take gentle care of it. 😊
Really well done. Do you think you could've gotten the outer pathways more rounded out if you made a faintly bulbous wedge, put it in between the pathways and hammered the pathway? Or would that possibly strain the gems to breaking point?
Sorry if my description is not really clear, I had to use google translate.
Once again, you've worked your magic! You make it seem so, mm, not easy per say, but definitely doable; watching this makes me wonder why customers like them would get turned away elsewhere, but logically I know that just speaks to your skills as a jeweler =) Jewelry is definitely sentimental, and I'm so glad you were able to save her ring! I grew up with dogs and never had problems like this.--The worst I ever experienced was a puppy who chewed on my of my flip flops while in a teething phase, but that's it. We solved the problem by giving her an old pair of sneakers nobody used anymore lol I'm sadly amused that this problem has happened to you and your customers multiple times ^.^"
BTW, I know a couple of others have pointed this out, but you have a rogue diamond on your wooden work stand where you fixed the split shank. Not sure if that came from this particular ring, but just an FYI to you.
What a cool video! Wouldn't have considered that something like that could be fixed.
That’s insane! Amazing 😍
Wow, you made it look so good again :)
Wow I didn't think you could restore a ring that far gone but you did an incredible job! That was very cool to watch! Ps it might be just me but your power tools sound like I'm at the dentist and it gives me weird mouth sensations
I once spent 20 hours making filigree bead round again after it did battle with my aunt's vacuum cleaner. It was a drop on her favorite pair of earrings. When I finished it was as good as new. Unfortunately, she only got to wear them a couple of months before one of her sitters stole them.
My pups have luckily never chewed any of the jewelry I have left sitting out, they much prefer catching flies and eating them.
So insanely talented
Who else saw a diamond just dancing inside of dust at 3:42
Excellent job satisfying video
3:36 is that a random diamond just chilling in the crack down there
Wow! Great job!
And Beautiful ring!!
I'm sure the doggie didn't mean to ruin the ring.🐶🤎
wauw, amazing!!
Wow you are a master
Should’ve requested to melt it and redesign it and add more gold. Something similar but stronger
Love you videos
Phenomenal! 😍
I love the tool you were using, that impacts at high frequency, to set the stones. May I ask, what is this tool called, and what is name of the maker of the tool? Also, I am wondering, could this tool have been used to repair the split-shank?
