Powerful testimony and humility from the first testimony. God bless him, his son and family. I have anger and his words help me to stand back, trust Jesus and let Him deal with it! Thankful.
I have struggled with serious drug addiction for 33 years. A couple months ago I returned to Jesus after a 14 month long death spiral into sin, drugs, and pure darkness. I almost didn't find my way back to the light. Today, was the first day I really struggled in the last two months. Prior to today, I've been flying on "Cloud 9" because I've just been so grateful to be freed from the bondage of sin and drugs. Today, I didn't have an urge to do drugs (yet). I just struggled with depression, remorse and living in a fallen (corrupt) world. This sermon, episode 277 (Galations 6), was exactly what I needed to hear. OMG. The Word that Pastor Phil taught convinced me today that the hard path to Christ-likeness I've been on the last two months is absolutely the right one and that in due season I will reap a good harvest. I've also struggled so much in the past with seeing people who don't live in complete disregard of God seem to be happy, content and financially prosperous. Their success seemed to contradict the fact God blesses faith and the good works that result from it. Pastor Phil teaches in this sermon about Psalm 73:6-11. Those verses helped me understand that in the end they will reap what they sowed. Thank you Pastor Phil for sharing your knowledge with us and thanks to everyone else involved in producing and broadcasting this program.
