Hi Keith. The ramps are designed to accept all coins of the world in the slots at the top. Balls can be launched just below the slots. Since balls have less resistance, launching them from the top would result in too much speed. Of course, with balls (especially ball bearings), you don't need the ramps at all. I like to spin them against the rim like a roulette wheel. They hug the rim for several spirals before letting go and starting their descent.
There are several all over the World. You can see a list of them in public locations (museums, zoos, etc.) on the "Museum and Zoo" link on the company website that shows on the video, along with the "Size" link.
Steve, what would happen on the 7 footer if you placed say a 1/2" diameter ball bearing in or on top of the coin slot? I can't tell from your video the details of the ramp design. Still love my three foot well and am now posting ball bearing rolls on UA-cam. See Keith Mirenberg. Regards.
