    Being an owner of 1 year 6 month old TaoTao PowerMax 150 I bought brand new. I recommend you upgrade to better quality parts ASAP because I had to do a lot of replace and repair work already. Started falling apart piece by piece with OEM equipment (cheap plastic body panel, heavy muffler support bracket broke, bolts broke or loose, hit bump broke rear trunk bracket, right hand throttle controls loose up).

    Hey man I watch a lot of vids thanks for your videos I just bought a 150 eagle gy6 brand new I rode it for the first two days was almost home had it going 55 lost power then it reaccelerated but was knocking from gear box what do you think it is my bro please give me your input thank you

      Hey there, glad to hear you're enjoying the vids! Alright, let's break down what might be going on with your Eagle GY6. Losing power and hearing knocking from the gearbox definitely isn't a good sign, but we'll get it sorted out.
      First off, losing power could be due to a few things. It might be an issue with fuel delivery, like a clogged fuel filter or carburetor problem. It could also be related to the ignition system, such as a faulty spark plug or ignition coil. Another possibility is an air intake problem, like a dirty air filter or a vacuum leak.
      Now, the knocking from the gearbox is a bit concerning. It could be a sign of something serious going on inside, like worn gears or bearings. It might also be related to the clutch system, such as a slipping clutch or damaged clutch plates.
      Given that your scooter is brand new, it's possible that there's a manufacturing defect or assembly issue causing these problems. I'd recommend taking it back to the dealership or contacting the manufacturer to see if they can help diagnose and fix the issue under warranty.
      In the meantime, it might be best to avoid riding the scooter until you can get it checked out to prevent any further damage. Keep me updated on how things go, and feel free to ask if you have any more questions. Ride safe, bro!

    When I bought my scooter the previous owner put this hose into the hose leading into the engine just after my performance air filter. The way they set it up is that ok?

    Could you use this method on the crankcase breather hose as well? Thank you.

    Hey I have a question. I got a 2017 tao tao quantum tour 150cc scooter. Ive been going thru hell with new issue after another. Most of it was carb issues. Got a new carb. New carb came with cone filter that attaches to rear of carb thus eliminating the stock tube with the hole for where a hose normally would go into. Well my scooter randomly had oil all over the place near the cvt area. It was engine oil not gear oil. I discovered a plastic tee where the hose lead off that went to the air intake tube and the hose was gone from the tee and oil was spraying from that port of the tee. So I put in another tee since ii had one laying around with another hose and looped it all together. Now I got heavy blueish/gray exhaust and my valve cover hose keeps blowing off from the valve cover. Any suggestions on what I need to do?

      Hello if you replace the carburetor keep the original filter cone filter at the end they will give you problem the hose the come from the valve cover is the positive pressure relief and meed to go under need the oem air box and that hose needs to blow air out. Thank you for watching my video

      @@VirberelloScooterTips the original air filter was a box setup. The box only had the big air intake hose going to it. At the end of the hose there was a small hole for a small rubber hose with a male to male adapter so it would push right into the hole. The new air filter (cone air filter) does not have a hole for the hose to go into. I've been just letting it lay around back there and it's been fine. While I'm driving it today I look over to see if I fixed my leak the other day and that's when I saw my cvt case was soaked and I noticed something spraying straight up from a 3 way splitter. So I put my hand out and it was soaked in oil in half a second. Why wasn't it spraying out the end of the hose? Isn't it supposed to be air going through and not oil? Or is oil supposed to pass through? I'm confused

    hey bro my scooter want start an the starter an everything else good I’m thinking it’s something by the belt cause the belt turn over but the thing with teeth on it by the belt it not staying in place it’s keep moving I think that’s the problem maybe

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  2 роки тому +1

      Hello my friend the teeth on the belt should not make a big difference if the scooter is not starting the first question is do you have spark? Second question is do you have fuel going from the tank to your motor ? And last thing to ask your self is do I have compression? Thank you for watching my video

    Does the breather hose come out of the bottom of the gearbox. And if so why is my hose only 1" long ? . I have a gy6139qmb engine. And it is a long case.

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  Рік тому

      Hello the gear breather hose should be on the to of the gear box not on the bottom because you could leak all the gear fluid out and the gear hose breather is around 5 inches

      @@VirberelloScooterTips well I have two engine's but they don't have any hose up on the top . Both are gy6qmb . 1 is a short case 1 is a long case.??
