This song reminds me of the broken hearted year I spent after my fiance left. It used to accentuate the hurt, the emptiness, and the desperation. I'm hearing your version now, and I'm feeling something new: relief. There's something about this performance that gives me a sense of healing, a sense that everything truly will be ok. Thank you so much, both of you, for giving this wounded man some of his color back.
