I'm the sole caretaker for my 91 year old mother- she fell last week, developed other problems and I had 6 days where I managed to ship but couldn't list anything. This video came at just the right time and I'll implement it immediately. Thanks so much.
Love this! I have been listing 20 items/day since May and it's been absolutely game changing, especially with the summer slowdown. I don't quite have a system that's as organized as this but I do want to implement something similar. Thanks for sharing!
Working a week ahead is a great concept! Why didn’t I think of that? I will start with 10 for each day and work up to 20! Thanks Cayley and Nikki for the inspiration.
Love your dress Niki! (Or is it a jumper?) Even though I’m a very small reseller, I learned that batch processing always saves me time. I work full time so I do most of my prepping, photographing, and listing drafts on the weekends. Then I actually list them throughout the following week. I actually have one bin on my kitchen table full of clothes that I have scheduled listings/drafts for the next week. (Yes, only ONE bin… lol)
As a newer eBay seller of less than 2 months, I find your thoughts intriguing. At the moment, I have 270 listed items. Working on listing minimum of 10 + items each day. I have not found my system that will allow me to be more efficient. Sales are doing good.
I found your channel several wks ago & I will say it has been a blessing. You truly are a bundle of unselfish information. Can you please make a video giving us ideas on how to pay helpers. Hourly, per item or etc. I don't expect you to reveal your confidential information but just ideas. I am truly pushing to scale my business but I have no idea on paying an employee so it can be profitable. Thank you so much.
I love your systems videos! It is so important to develop systems that work and are scalable. You've given me some good ideas and things to think about for our new venture.
Love your videos. This one though. I have a room full of items and I've figured out most everything except how to start. I kept trying to figure a system that would allow me to do everything in batches ahead of time. Your "Bank of Drafts" system is exactly what would work. Because im new i wanted to be ahead so that i don't have to stress. Thank you!
I learn the most from your channel! I love the idea of drafting all your listings in bulk on one day. It’s the most daunting task for me so I always put it off till 9 pm and then I’m exhausted and resent doing it even more 😅
I think the key to your video is the word “Helpers”!!! It’s difficult to do these numbers as a one person show! Staying organized is like 2nd nature to me. The first thing I thought of when I started selling on ebay was how I could find the item once it sold. To me it was a “no brainer” to come up with a system of bins on shelving to store my items once they are listed and to keep records on a spreadsheet format on my computer and as a backup, logged in my notebook, just in case my computer failed. However, you could not be doing the quantity and consistency you do without “Helpers”!!!
I do exactly the same with using a Spreadsheet on my iPad as well as a paper copy in my notebook. Having a backup has saved me in a few instances for sure!
This is my new favorite 😍 reselling channel! So practical! If you have time could your briefly explain...do you have a SKU already assigned and in your drafts and then you "find its home" or do you edit your listing and SKU when putting the item away? Thanks! Your my inspiration to put eBay first over Posh! Xxoo
Love love love y’all’s channel! In the process of growing my business in same scale with a year goal in warehouse space. Interested in how you hired/acquired the team you have. Looking for a e-commerce tech savvy OCD teammate. Would love someone to touch on this topic. Again ladies thanks again for your shared knowledge!
I have been working on a system and try to keep it managenable especially to find things. I wish i would have started with totes and numbering early but it coming together.
No worries at all! We only wash if needed. A lot of the items do get steamed though which kills bacteria. Most people donate clothes clean and most people will wash them after purchasing so I don't see a point in it.
Cayley, I love the way you are wearing your hair in this video! Whats the secret to those beautiful curls? I'm enjoying your videos. Thanks for all the reselling tips!
Thank you! I just bought a curling wand from Walmart lol $25 I believe it was the Remington brand. I have naturally wavy/curly hair but it never turns out this good! Lol
Maybe my brain is just fried, I've watched this a couple of times, and I did watch how you put the days-sourced items with your printed list from that day into totes when you return to the shop. But I kinda feel lost, this is how I'm understanding it for the most part, but can you clarify for me? ..... From the sourced totes, 20 items are pulled each day & drafted into eBay with all info including the batch names you've given them & placed into the daily bin system to be double checked & scheduled to out to go live, then they're put away into storage?
That is correct. Basically we source items and they go into a spot by our door. Each time we go to list each day we pull however many items we need from those totes. We draft and do the entire listings and then schedule them for a day in the future. They then go into a different tote in a different section labeled with the future date on it. Once that date arrives, the items are now active and we can just grab that tote to put them away into our inventory. We do this because #1 we do not work on weekends and want to have items going live without us being here and #2 we like to schedule as far ahead as we can so that if something happens and we can't work one day we don't need to worry about working because the days work is already done. When you schedule listings they also come out of the ebay draft page and go into a different page which helps to keep a very small amount of listings to work with in drafts. We prefer this type of organization versus having hundreds of drafts waiting to be set live. Hope this makes sense, if not, let me know and I can try to rephrase.
I want to know where they go after they have been listed. I have hundreds of items up for sale. My bf and I can’t get on the same page with organizing and cataloging. 😢 I sku every thing I list. He doesn’t. Eventually it will be hard to find things.
Hi! We have actually changed our inventory system since this video. Our new system is below and it's great because you can put items away as soon as you are done drafting them! Having an inventory system is definitely going to make your life easier, I hope you 2 are able to get on the same page 💕. ua-cam.com/video/wYXqvjj3ZDI/v-deo.htmlsi=jFC5xxOoqsVqWvv2
Hello !! I really like your videos learning more about women clothings is there anyway you considering making a Women Manifesto like Thrift A Life? that would be amazing !!!! Thank you again for the amazing videos.
I average about 4-5 listings a day. I have been selling on eBay for 92 days now. I cannot get over the 300 active listings Mark. I’m currently at 296 active and 274 sold. Then again I’m part time. I wish I could get to 20 a day.

Me too. I have not been consistent with eBay listing and never thought about batching the whole week. Thank you!
I love the idea of having different bins for the days of the week! Very organized!

It's a dress! Batch processing is the best. 😊

This video was a kick in the pants. I set out to do something similar but did not follow through but this inspired me to get back to it. Thank you.

Thanks for the great info. I am going to try this system.

Why not list whenever. Does it make a difference when you list ?

Two very smart ladies!
You guys are so awesome! Thank you for sharing your process. I feel like I need to do something like this to stay consistent.
hard working people, ditto to you guys
Haven’t gotten very far into the video but have to pause to say that your hair looks amazing Cayley!
Thank you!!

I love your channel!! So very informative and helpful! Glad to see Nikki back in your video!
Not sure if you posted this already but I'd love to see how you store everything!
Hi! A lot of things have changed since this video. Here's our new inventory system:

A very important topic to talk about! Good talk on systems!
Cayley when Nikki is speaking you look like Mona Lisa the way you look toward the camera.
As always I absolutely love your videos! Off to the bins 🤩😍
I'm going to take that as a compliment lol 😆
@@cayleyelaine yes! A totally modern and gorgeous Mona Lisa!
Do you wash your items before listing? Sorry if you already talked about that, I’m new to your channel 😁

Thanks for this very helpful video ladies! Nicky, how do you do your hair like that? I love it
Chrystal, I use a curling want and curl it on 1 inch sections. It takes about 45 minutes but its better in small sections. super easy
@@nikkin4617 thank you! Sorry for misspelling your name 😘
No worries! Its got lots of spelling options
Great video, love the being ahead a week. I would like to hire part time help as I scale up, do you have a video on when it's best to do that?
Hey! Here's a video I did regarding hiring:

I have no clue how your system works. Idk why I'm not understanding..I'll watch it again 😆
I'm so sorry. If you have a specific question about something that is confusing you, let me know.
Speechless.
Good advice....
Do you use an organizing system like list perfectly or vendoo?
We use List Perfectly
Are your helpers live in person or Virtual assistant helpers? Do they work daily or just on Wednesday?
They are people I met in person but can work at their own pace. Their requirements are to get x amount of listings done in a week.
Awesome video
Thank you for sharing.

Maybe! I'd probably want to ask Matt 1st, so that he didn't think I was just trying to steal his ideas.
What exactly is a draft?
It's an incomplete listing that has not been set active for sale yet.
I wish i had the space to add another 7 bins in my work area
Love ur Chanel but wow the so many commercials
What happen when an items sells? How do you find it? your bins are full for the week...what next?
Hi! We put items away the next day into our inventory system. Video about that if you're interested below. 👇
