That Hooligan was my dream come true, I always wanted someone get caught at the last second with a surprise Hooligan in a major event, the fact that Punk NEVER use the hooligan made this the move of the night.

The drive rush fake to set it up was so clean I couldn't believe my eyes.
The fact that NL reacted to the dr with jab made that moment even more of a hype checkmate

I always catch ppl off guard with ex hooligan grab. Im not good at the game so i always go into lvl 3 right after it hits

Due to how damage scaling works, if you're going to level 3 after starting with ex hooligan it's basically always most damage efficient to just do it right after the throw connects.

4:15 can someone tell me why Cammy C.HP comboed into HP even though there was no Counter Hit/Punish Counter?
The move is active for many frames. If you hit the opponent very late in the animation they suffer the entire hitstun BUT only got hit by the last like 1 frame. This gives you more time to recover and combo. Try this in training mode - set the dummy to block on wake-up and time a Gief f.HP (the headbutt) to hit them just as they get up. You will see that you can get different numbers of plus frames (I think you can get as much as +9 off of that). Reason being even if they get hit by the FINAL active frame of a move, they suffer the entire hitstun or blockstun duration, always

I mean yeah but it does help. If she gets you in a throw loop then its kinda over but that thing i told u does help. The trajectory of hooligan and most of her aerials are forward moving so if you jump forward most of her options are behind you get it

Sadly for NASR fans Bandits won SFL. Today Chris T, Mena and Caba trained with JAK. Even Punk spoiled the result indirectly by stating if he can't qualify for Capcom Cup he will restream it from home. Obviously that means he won't be attending the team battle vs EU or Japan teams cause Bandits won.
