A clean car that comes out clean after a wash. Who would have thought?! And the wheel brush also washes the entire side of the vehicle. Is definitely great for the paint when the brake dust is sanded over the paint
Most new car wash being built today (including this one) use a closed-cell foam material that is designed to prohibit small particles of dirt and sand from collecting inside. Foam is the safest material used for car washing today (even safer than hand washing).
To the people calling this rubber brushes or that sound is the paint being scratched. I have used spinlite tunnels before and my paint still looks good even with the evening sun on it (black car). I wanted to feel the brushes to see how they felt. The owner let me walk in the tunnel and feel them, they were soft and felt like they would be gentle on the car. Its closed cell foam material. I also been through a tunnel with normal fast spinning brushes that are also closed cell foam and they make a squeak sound also. Its just the characteristics of the material. I know carwashes arent perfect but this machine isnt as bad as people are making it out to be.
@@joefro9473You are correct. If you feel your paint then look at it under a scope you will see scratches. Thats just how it is with coatings and paints. Are they noticeable? The squeaking noise as those rotating washers hit the car is just painful. Good luck to who ever has to deal with that paint correction. Also what’s up with the LEDs? Does the owner also build PCs or something?
Car washes don’t scratch. They are extremely gentle, and cannot damage paint. They won’t absorb dirt either, making it impossible for them to scratch. However, the saying “car washes scratch” comes from washes that still use cloth. The brushes themselves don’t hurt the car but the rocks and sand they absorb do. This wash doesn’t use cloth, therefore it cannot scratch.
Get the monthly basic wash and go through every 3 days then wipe down. Wipe out crevices of rims then car will stay nice. Florida is definitely designed for this procedure compared to the northern states. The brushes are very soft and really don't make swirl marks like the old school car washes. Also soaps and drying is much better. Put a coat of turtle wax ceramic hybrid on paint when car is new. The paint will look great for years. If you want it to look good taking care of it is crucial. Keeping up on coating is important.
100% they will scratch your car, after the wheel and tire brushes went over your dirty wheels and then continue over the side part of the car, making sure all dirt and sand will be scratched into your paint😒 if you love your car just wash it by hand.

@@carwashreviewsandmore7609 i strongly disagree. The reason you don’t see the scratches right away on newer cars is because of the multiple layers of clear coat. And that reminds me, touch-less car washes use soap that is actually designed to burn through a mini layer of clearcoat to get the car clean.
@@6atlantis Not all touch free washes do, usually ones run by bad facilities (gas stations, poorly maintained car washes, etc) do damage clear coat with how much high pH they throw at the car. That is called flashing. It’s scarily common how many touch free washes do this, however some don’t. Changing topic back to soft touch washes, they don’t damage clear coat period. Soft touch washes are actually much safer than hand washing because they use appropriate chemicals, safe brushes, etc. I get where you’re coming from though, it was widely known back when automatic car washes were first invented that they would scratch, because of the brush material.
There wrap speed is to slow either adjust the speed on those wraps or just don’t have them come out at all. Because if that vehicle was really muddy they way those wraps are moving it wouldn’t did anything to get the mud off
The brushes are made out of the same thing scuba suits are made from. And I can tell you right now it shouldn't squeak. This means there is not enough lubrication, ie soap, on the brushes, or the speed is not fast enough, and there is too much pressure on the arms making the brushes push on the car too hard. All of which cause scratches. And those are definitely not spinning fast enough. Would you really want those rotating brushes cleaning your rims and then dragging the dirt from those down the side of your car like that. Nope. No way.
