To save time just get your local grocery store butcher to slice your round roast (top round, eye of round, bottom round whatever). No need to hand trim or have your own slicer or even a knife. Any BBQ sauce or marinade will work as a marinade.

Good video. I prefer using dry marinades. As to not add any more moisture to the meat. Hi Mountain has some really good ones. Just cuts the drying time down by a ton.

Excellent video ! Oh BTW, here’s a side note. I believe that the air flow plate is a damper, not dampener. Here is the definition. “An HVAC damper (also called a duct damper) is a movable plate, located in the ductwork, that regulates airflow and redirects it to specific areas of the home. Dampers are typically used in zoning or “zone control” systems.” Just my 2 cents. Still a very good video, thanks !

The PK Smoker is a great unit. I do prefer my jerky a bit on the chewy side. I'll use a simple Teriyaki sauce for the marinade but that mix you used looks great. Now what beer would that pair with? A cold one or two of course. Ricer have a great day.😄🍻👍

Next time, save the marinade. About halfway thru the smoke/drying process, brush additional marinade on. The extra moisture is negligible to your drying time, and it adds a ton of extra flavor.

@@DeadBrokeBBQ just saying less than 1% of your viewers have a smoker of the quality. You should show the dehydrator method or oven method.. something anyone can do.. people see this and don’t try because your equipment is so much better than what common people have. Just saying for future videos you might keep that in mind. Nice smoker btw.

I get it but I say you can do this in any smoker or oven. This video was all about the convenience of the jerky kit.

Please help me understand what is up with the gloves! Anything a gloved hand touches also touches the meat so contaminated, so why glove? If you decontaminate your hands why have gloves? If you don't want the chemicals touching your skin, why would you eat the meat?

Ha ha I feel the rage in your reply seething from your finger tips that I have been smoking meats for 35 years and through time have saved my American pesos and bought nice long lasting equipment. Hang in there underling, you too can have my power if you just stop spending your money on AI girlfriend sex chats. Yes, they have large boobs but they are only pixels sunshine. Take off the VR headset for a few weeks, your family misses you. Hahaha
Ps I will sell you my slicer for $1,250.00 US dollars. That is a huge savings!!!! Hahaha ya putz.
