This is what alternative metal is... alternative is wild if you find the right stuff
As a metal head this is garbage... This is not metal, this pop rock
@@greenbeans5776 This is one of the lighter tracks on the album. If you hear all of it, there are some genuinely heavy bits, like when it slows to a funeral-march doom pace. There's thrashy bits, distorted noisy bits too, so just ust tagging it as 'pop rock' and walking away is actually doing it a disservice.
Chevy Racine well really it’s post genre according to poppy
@@Speal_ Yep. This is very true - it doesn't seem to fall into anything, which is really rather cool.
More then one of her best musics, this is actually the one that made FEEL the message that she's trying to spread. Cause like, I allways try to get what she wants to transmit, but this music made it all hit like a truck.
Ending this song with the lyrics and melody from her other songs is so powerful
Never thought I would get Queen, Rush, Linkin Park, Steven Wilson, Megadeth and Between The Buried And Me vibes in one song. Just shows Poppy can sing to any style
YES thank you, thought I was the only one who noticed the SW vibe
AYYOOOO you are speaking facts!
Steven Wilson for sure
Periodt
Definitely btbam
Thank you for being someone who understands the world we live in while giving us something that reminds us of nostalgia. We need it.
Please continue to change well.
This Is Probably My Favorite Song On The Album
I like how the album ties together at the end of this song. Combining 3 hooks from 3 of the songs on the album is genius. Amazing Poppy.
This song is... I can’t even describe how good. It’s PERFECT.
I cannot comprehend how great this album is
The only thing that could possibly top this is the thought of seeing it performed live.
The last part omg it’s so beautiful it gives me nostalgic vibes and it made me cry the way it just references to Concrete, I disagree, fill the Crown in such a heavenly way, made me cry because of her evolution through music like Bubblebath all the way to I Disagree omg I-
honestly, her saying everything will be okay is actually refreshing and somehow it makes me wanna believe it
That part always makes me cry :( i remember when ppl would say that all the time to me and it always felt like a lie and it made me feel even worse. Luckily i think everything is getting better and im more hopeful that we'll all make it out of this situation okay 😤
I def experienced an eargasm listening to this song. There are no words to describe how beautiful this whole album is, WOW!!!
best song on the albulm
and the instrumental, oh my lord-
agh i just like
love this so much
and the background
omg i love this whole albulm
like the guitar is nostalgic cus my dad used to play guitar like this and then the ahhh at the end remind me of drake and josh
Brooo when that Concrete lyric comes in, it hits right there.
It's storming where I am, tornado warnings as well. This is good advice
The way the album ended was perfection. 👌It left me feeling HAPPY with tears of joy. 😊😭🙂
On the reddit AMA she said she wrote a piece of this a year before they made this song and came across a voice memo of it and felt so emotional she had to finish it and create this beauty.
the hottest track on the album. it goes OFF towards the end girl... she did that
WTF OFF
This is my favourite song of the entire album I think. I love it a lot and the end feels emotional for some reason. Keep up the awesome work Poppy!
Must have listened to this 20 times in the 2 days it's been out. This has to be the most musically advanced well written Poppy song yet! An instant favourite song!
she put i disagree at the end and i love it
This is a masterpiece, and you can't change my mind...
I LOVE YOU, POPPY. BE YOURSELF FOR EVER AND BE HAPPY MAKING MUSIC. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, STAY HEALTHY AND YOU'RE AMAZING. ❤
I have inspiration to do multiple metal genres, but Poppy... man, she hit every genre completely separate, huge respect.
THE OUTRO ON THIS SONG IS LITERALLY PERFECT
That “ding” at the end though... 😂🛎
That aside... WHAT A MASTERPIECE! 🙏🏻❤️💫
The sound effect in the end was very beautiful and make me feel like I was on a cliff with bringht sunshine and waterfall in front of me
DING DING DING
It means she SERVED this whole album and it's beautiful
I think that part is symbolic of how trapped and lost she was.
And how it all ends with one little sound.
Like waking up from a bad dream. You can remember those remaining pieces, but you’re ok.
And with that “ding” it is the end of being manipulated and it’s a new beginning where the light is now seeable.
That guitar solo-
This whole song is just wow!
This could be 2020's official theme song.
Just like an anime opening
@@deborah2763 yeah but there will be no ending bc karens , anti-maskers , and anti-vaxxers
New episodes weekly!! And tommorow 7th season will release
Lmao yes 😭🤚
it should
I shed a tear at the end :’)
This song is about the end of the world. How fitting with the recent stuff happening in the world.
TheSesime yes thought I was the only 1 who knew
Every thing will be ok.
It wont.

World war 3
everybody gangsta until Poppy releases "stay inside, zombies are outside"
This album feels like a movie, and this song would be the ending credits
