Uwharrie gets REAL nasty when it gets wet. The clay gets SUPER slick, almost like ice on a bike. My friend cracked his crankcase through his skidplate at Uwharrie lol.
I used to live close to those trails. Rode them all on my 690 besides Daniels. I’ve got a couple videos of going up that part at the end of your video. Definitely impressed you guys tore it up on those bikes! Those trails are extremely difficult certain spots. Your friend who said they would all be no problem on those bikes must either not ride motorcycles or has it out for you haha
Yea I think when you run these trail in a truck they give you a false sense of reality😅 I experienced that first had in this video ua-cam.com/video/5qGFuOhTdQs/v-deo.html . This trail was difficult in a truck but I would have thought it was gonna be a breeze on the bike but I was wayyy wrong! Haha
The 390 didn’t like it and this trip iced the cake on selling it and getting her something better after I rode it up that one hill and realized how bad it was on the more serious off road stuff😅
Yea we sold it this was back in the spring of last year just got back from a 6 day trip with a bunch of SD cards but unfortunately lost allot of footage that connected everything so I kinda scrapped the trip video but I was able to salvage this days ride🤙

I've been up there with my 4x4. I'm surprised the 390 did what it did. Cameras defiantly don't show how steep these hills are.

wolf den is the easiest trail they have! The only thing I miss about being stationed in bragg was going to uwharrie every weekend, I love that place.
