Twelve months after this performance Baudoin was again performing in Korea this time as a baritone. Little did the many fans of Baudoin realise this performance was to be his last with Les Petit Chanteurs a la Croix de Bois. When they returned to a france and the Christmas holiday period was over Baudoin commenced at a new school . His singing will be missed but I am sure all his fans wish him well in his future life !
I choose to use the performance by Baudoin of Nella Fantasea which was recorded at a Mass at the very end of the 2011 Korea concert tour because I believe it may be the last recording of Baudoin singing in his soprano (treble) voice. From the beginning of 2012 he has always sung in his tenor / bass voice in all recordings with Les Petits Chanteurs A La Croix De Bois!
Baudouin est sans conteste l'une des plus belles voix que les PCCB aient eu à leur actif mais personnellement, je trouve que la relève est tout aussi bonne depuis son départ ! Je pense eu jeune Victor, qui me vient en tête... une très belle voix avec beaucoup d'assurance dans les toniques. Hormis Baudouin à l'époque, n'oublions pas les voix d'Augustin, d'Etienne qui étaient de la même promotion.
Baudouin is just fantastic and in my opinion nobody compares with him but there are other great soloists in the PCCB as well, Brieuc and Clement for example. Along with Libera they are my favourite choir.
