what impressed me back in the days was kyle doing magic on a budget everyone could do too. foraging part from junkyards and turned wild ideas into reality.
all on the dirty floor of a garage. the hatch became a beast and really impressed me.
A rally-rarri would be awesome and a combined build with both channels would be really cool.
That would be way cool if Kyle helped them build their Ferrari.
Kyle single handedly created a phase of car culture which was usually highschool kids with ebay everything. Kyle is the ebay turbo civic. He did it before anyone
So glad you guys got to sit down and talk with Kyle and learn where he started from, and what he has done for the industry as a whole. That guy has progressed car platforms to levels that wernt even comprehended at the time he did it. Truly a pioneer of the sport, and seriously a genuine car enthusiast.

He's done a lot but not as much as the DC b series amd H series cars fam. Kyle's fastest Honda is mid 7's. The other guys were low 7's 3/4 years ago and now getting into the 6s. Kyle just popularized the Honda cars to the masses in the US. He's DEFINITELY helped the sport, but he's not pioneering it.

@Dukes3677 I think he meant more pioneering for the average or mid level car people. He made a way to be competitive with top level and money Hondas yeah he never made it to them. But he submitted the idea to anyone who though you needed 10000 dollars to start even going 9s
It's been awesome seeing Kyle on different channels and podcasts. His journey from where he started to where he has grown the channel. Well deserved.

Grind hard inspired me to start building my sons a custom crawler/buggy using a 1985 chevy square body step-side fiberglass body that I got from a jora shriners go-cart! Bought a welder, tube bender, notcher, lathe, and a ton off other tools
you gotta have Kyle out to the Grind Hard compound to race shopping carts
Im very exited for the ferrari, but i feel it should get a engine with at least 6 cylinders. A 4 cyl would sound wrong in a ferrari.
Some of the other commenters pointed out a honda j35 v6. With a supercharger. Or you guys go the grindhard route of putting whatever engine is available for cheap in your area. And put a supercharger on that.
I hope you guys stick to your way of building with whatever is available to you on this build. I allways really liked it and it is a big part of the reason why im following you.
I no longer really watch his videos, but I remember watching this guys stuff when he had like 20k subscribers, living in Colorado, his civic hatch with eBay everything. Then he build that minivan and brought it to Wanna-Go-Fast in Ocala Florida at 17FL. Memories

The engine mounted longitudinally like the original 355 engine with either the Ferrari transaxle or some other of the same configuration would be sick
They were talking about roller coasters, I absolutely HATE rollercoasters. I street tune high HP (800whp+) cars and can have no problem with just focusing on the tune and live data, but im a little B when it comes to coasters.
You could be the first people to put a big cat diesel in a Ferrari because why not

I think a supercharged j series swapped ferarri would be amazing...
for your Ferrari, maybe look at the Pantra with a 351C Ford engine, from 1979 to 1990 a lot of Ford E150 Vans had the 400M, lots of bottom end torque with a 2 barrel carb, lol or go Honda K24 or V6 Super charged.
The Speed Academy guys did just pull a supercharger off their K series. I'm sure they would be willing to sell it.
The tesla is cool because Kyle made it unique, he didn't just buy a tesla. He actually had to WORK to make the plaidyssey

Nice. Had to fast forward a lot. Maybe Im different, but I have a hard time allocating time to listen to podcasts. Just a bit of FOMO keeps me tuning in sometimes. Just some feedback as an adult with a full schedule. Im sure the numbers speak enough for themselves though.

@@ryaninwa5375 im aware what a PTO is...however there isnt a PTO. So, im confused. And there isnt a transfer case either.
@npickart the all wheel drive Honda Transmissions have a PTO driving the shaft extending to the rear end through a viscous coupling. I'm referring to k swapping a Ferrari and somehow engineering it to drive the front wheels, in an all wheel drive configuration.

The NSX, MR2, and Odyssey all have the same motor and transmission, and none of them came from the factory with the motor and trans they have now, so can we really say he has any records? To qualify for a “record”, the car needs to at least have its factory engine.
That's a different category fam, he's not going for stock trans and motor civic record.
