Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World set in the #Atelier universe celebrates the series’ 20th Anniversary; allowing players to experience the beloved series’ characters with an exciting new town building focus.
Nelke & the Legendary #Alchemists: #Ateliers of the New World puts players in the shoes of Nelke von Lestamm, a young noblewoman who has always been fascinated by the ancient legend of the Sage of Granzweit; a tale of the Granzweit Tree which is said to bestow great power upon those who discover it. As she grew up and learned her skills were not in alchemy, she studied hard to become a government official and help those around her. The day Nelke is set to graduate the academy, however, her life changes forever as she hears a rumor that the tree can be found within her father’s lands near the small village of Westwald. Her father grants her permission to search for it on one condition - that she becomes governor of the area and develops Westwald into a prosperous city.
As players work hard to build Westwald up from a quaint village to a flourishing city, they will require the aid of the many alchemists that settle in the town. Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World features famous alchemists from previous entries across the Atelier series, including those from the #Salburg, #Arland, #Dusk, and #Mysterious trilogies. - Ігри

i agree this game sucks i cant believe all you do for the most part is build places a huge step back in game play compared to the other games
Yeah, I also agree with that too. I like the design and animation of nelke and the legendary alchemists, but I'm going to buy atelier lulua instead for the nintendo switch. That game looks so much better to be honest. I would rather play the other atelier games where i could explore than just city building like in this game. But I'll still might buy nelke and the legendary alchemists later on when it's on sale.
If you don't like Mana khemia or turn based combat but love the mood and world of Atelier games and love city management what would the review /10 be?

was excited at first when i saw the combat cause it reminded me of mana khemia a bit. have played. DUSK > ARLAND = MYSTERIOUS anytime
Thanks for this review. I considered buying it but I find it too expensive for what you get. And I like that you're saying they're releasing too many games, I feel the same way and I also feel like the quality isn't as good anymore. I'd prefer it if they started truly working on a title with a good plot, better graphics and whatnot and only release once every so many years. Instead of 1 or 2 a year that aren't as good.
Doesn't the Atelier series have like 17 games out so far? Seems like their running out of ideas if this game is anything to go by. Good review as always Red! 👍

this is a celebratory spinoff title..
I love the Atelier games, my favorite one is Firis. I loved the big open world. But I'm going to skip this one. I hate city building games.
I liked that one a lot too.
this game is for fans of the series in more ways than you think... atelier games have a good dose of time management. if you can go through the salburg games and gramnad games, you can go through nelke.
Great review, i really love the atelier games, but I'm going to skip on this game, the design and animation of nelke is great, but it's not my type of game to be honest. I really don't like city building games at all. I'm going to buy the atelier shallie dx for the nintendo switch instead and the other atelier games for the nintendo switch too.
Shallie is one of my favorite games in this series!
@@R3DGaming atelier shallie is also one of my favorite games in the atelier series too, even though i never played the original game for the Ps3 before and I'm thinking about getting the atelier dusk trilogy games for the nintendo switch, but i really don't know which atelier game to start with for the nintendo switch.
@@magicalcat-girl5272 The og one was so good, but these dx versions always come with more content. I would prefer steam from now on because of modding possibilities and future-proofing. As long as steam never shuts down, we are good to go. PS tried to shut down the PlayStation store before. I don't trust sony anymore. They have weird policies like they want you to have psn account just to play certain first-party and second party developer games.
@@R3DGaming that's great. I also don't play on my PS3 anymore so i'm going to buy the atelier dx games for the nintendo switch instead. I might start with the arland trilogy first then the dusk trilogy and the mysterious trilogy after that i might get nelke and the legendary alchemists later on.

How do you hate time limits but love the Arland series as those are waaay more time heavy then say Dusk

I know about it, but I've never played that one.
i was extremely disapointed with this how can you make a game like this and mainly focus the building element im getting rid of this game and waiting for atelier lulua
