Thankyou NGTV: the following road rage has to be called out...@2:51 some really shockingly poor driving from the first driver of the N°9 GT40 (Meins/Lillington-Price/Bentley)...this is not a banger race!
Since when has it been necessary for a 1966 GT40 sports prototype to feel so challenged by a GTS 12 Austin-Healey (207 driven by Chris Harris and Wilmoth) as to force it off the track!
Fact check: this GT40 was 10 seconds a lap off the pace of the leading GT40s and finished in a miserable 77th place. Needless to say that the Austin-Healey finished in a respectable 30th place.
Let's hope that Vincent will not invite this team back.
But surely Chris Harris is not a nobody and knows how to drive fast. 🙂
@@HarryHunterx Even when well driven, an A-H3000 is no match for a GT40, as I'm sure you can appreciate (the latter has a lower CoG, and drag coefficient, 250bhp more, and with big brakes and boots).
For a GT40 to repeatedly push the car (the A-H) off the track was extremely poor driving to put it politely.
I dont like when these amazing clasics crash☹
I like the bit where the TR4 hits the wall at 6.50 Can't think of someone who deserves it more.

I can sum that up for you...they are real cars with gear levers with no electronic snowflake crap to save your arse when it goes wrong...proper blokes cars these, not generic , boring, "spec" jelly mould cars...there, that should do it🤣
