Deanna should have picked-up on "NO" emotions coming from that that place in 10~Forward. Data's Mom playing that kind of music. With her husband watching. And the mental aggravation of her home dieing. Deanna should have noticed something.
And how did she manage to go so many years not knowing she was an android? As 𝘪𝘧 no one ever told her or suspected. She must’ve realised. What if she tried to procreate or something?
Was this from a recording of the (almost) complete version of Handel-Halvorson's Passacaglia in G-minor? LOVE the piece. I remember hearing this on the show and went nuts trying to figure out what it was called (pre-internet and early internet). Found out later, I had the original Handel version (from a Harpsichord suite). Had been looking for a STRING piece by Handel (as Juliana called it "the Handel piece") but it was originally a harpsichord from the Keyboard Suite No. 7 in g minor (Book 1), HWV 432, last movement. Halvorson arranged it for 2 string instruments (usually played on violin and cello or violin and viola). There are also modern takes on this, usually for piano and then, the "pop" versions of the modern interpretations. I like them all. :)

All of that was explained in the episode. She was created by Dr Song to fool everyone. Data noticed when she played so perfectly!
