Such an amazing video Laura!! I went to the gym to use the treadmill today and watched a few videos to get caught up! I LOVED it!!! I want to be like you ~ your vlogs are so creative! One day I'll get better at putting all my video and pictures together and hopefully my videos will be half as good as yours!!!
You guys are so fun! I was so cold and grouchy that day in my corral and I thought the race would never start! Your costumes are fantastic 👍🏼 thanks for sharing with us. The castle gets me every time I see it ❤️
O my gosh! Rob, you should do make-up tutorials! That was some excellent stuff. Also, the lady who sang the anthem was great, too. Jackie's look of pure misery, though...haha! Love your photo poses.
Well done. You all looked fantastic! The cold....! I would probably have stayed in bed. I definitely do not love anyone enough to be a spectator at a run if it meant getting up to face freezing temperatures at noway o'clock. My first half of the year tomorrow (Sunday 3rd), very civilised - up at 8.15am, coffee and toast, leave at 9.20am, arrive by 10am in time for limited parking spaces, run begins at 11am - temperature a very civilised 45/50 degrees, complete run at 12.33, coffee and cake in cafe by 1.30pm. Happy days!
Oh my goodness you all looked AMAZING!!! 🤩 And we totally saw you guys in MK but just didn’t realize it was you! 😂 looks like you had a BLAST and I love all those race photos!
Of course hairspray!!! It’s the same thing in the setting sprays they sell. LOL He looked fantastic after 13 miles. I don’t know if it would’ve held up that well in heat but I’m so happy it made the look. The opening was too funny.
Oh man, my toes just got really cold watching this and remembering how cold it was that day. But you guys made it look like so much fun. These might have been your best costumes ever. How will you ever top these?
Im possibly doing the Star Wars half marathon weekend this year and we might be staying off property for it. For every other race I've done I've always stayed on property and just took the bus to the start lines and had no issues. I would love any tips you have about driving in because I am terrified of having car/traffic troubles on race morning! Thanks!
Honestly, if you leave super early, (like around 15 minutes before the bus transportation service starts,) it will be no problem! Road will be clear with zero traffic and you'll get a parking spot that's close. You will hit congestion if you wait until after transportation starts.
Love it! Can't wait to see you all at the Princess Half!

Thanks so much, Jennalyn, and I'd LOVE to see a video recap of yours one day!!

Oh yeah, we had some grouch going on as well. Had not to be when you're freezing! Hope you had a blast and thanks for watching!
Thanks for capturing the magical atmosphere, and for including part of the Star Spangled Banner--one of my favorite parts of any race!
So glad you enjoyed our video! Thanks for watching and leaving a lovely comment! :)

Love the costumes! Will be looking for you guys at the Princess Half in a couple of weeks! 😀

You did a great job and yep, that makeup stayed throughout the entire race!! ;)
I loved the new entrance to MK on this course!
