  • Dr. Jenny Cogbill presents her final report from her doctoral Capstone Project focused on the implementation of the Compact and the role of the Commissioner in supporting military families.
    Dr. Cogbill graduated from Virginia Tech with B.S. in Psychology, earned her M.A. Ed. in Counselor Education from East Carolina University, and recently completed her Doctorate in Education at Vanderbilt University. She began her career in teaching and counseling K-12 and then moved to higher education as an adjunct professor in psychology and sociology. She began working with the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) as a Parent-to-Parent Trainer and then transitioned to Professional Development in 2015. She is an Army wife, mother of three military children, and is passionate about advocating for military children and their families.
