The Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission stands formally for the Interstate Compact for Educational Opportunity for Military Children. The Compact serves as a contract between states, allowing governments to work collaboratively to address issues or concerns across boundaries. This webinar will examine the Compact’s past: addressing why and when it started; the adoption by the50 states and the District of Columbia; how it works and what it covers; the Compact’s present - mission, vision, values, and shared commitments; and the future, including next steps, current action items, and the new strategic plan.
