Weihrauch HW40 PCA Review & Power Test. This pistol is a single stroke pneumatic. It works by compressed air, and is charged with a single stroke. Very accurate with no recoil at all. It has a very nice trigger action which is very light. This pistol has zero running costs, and is very easy to maintain at home.

Just bought one in .22. Loving it so far. Trigger is excellent on a gun of this cost and its more accurate than me. Well worth the money.!

I'm curious, why you bought the .22 one. I never even considered that, because .177 (or so, where i live it's 4,5mm) ammo is much cheaper and doesn't drop as much. I quess it has a little more energy, but if that was the reason, you wouldn't have bought a HW40. You propably have a good reason for this decision. I'd like to know it. Have fun!

I bought this pistol 20 years ago in Germany. I'm still shooting with it.

You can dry fire SSP guns with no issues just like you can a PCP.....it's just a valve that is released/opened not a spring slamming against anything like a springer. Great video!

It's a pcp. The hammer just opens a valve, you can dry fire as much as you want, without hurting it. You don't need to worry about that. If you get the chance, try an HW100, the trigger on that is even better. Also, on both the HW40 and the Hw100 the trigger is adjustable, you can make it lighter if you wanted to.

I watched a review on the Webley, looks very good. It is double the price of the HW40 though.

when you try one you’ll know why. But I agree it’s over priced and doesn’t have fibre optic sights. The webley shouldn’t cost the same money has a HW45. Never mind the HW40. But the webley Alecto has a really good quality feel to it. And the 3 pump power takes to the legal limit. if you feel the need for full power. You need too try one. I hope I’ve not Big’d it up to much.
