I Love mine, It's far more precise than i can shoot a pistol and the trigger is almost as great as the one in my 5,5 HW 100. If i had to choose only one airgun, it would be my HW40, because i use it the most. I can even train with it indors, without disturbing neighbors. And when you don't open it completely, only the trigger mechanism gets cocked. It allows you to train trigger control by dry fireing it.
Cheers Philip,. Aiming to do some more reviews in spring so will definitely take you up on the offer. You are just up the road! Have a great Christmas and fingers crossed for a decent 2022!
Picked one up a couple of weeks ago, because I want to get back into target shooting maybe teach my nephew how to shoot. Well, he is a very talented footballer Bon Chance everyone ❤ Love that gun, but it is "A very hard cock" 😂 Good days to All x 2.5fp not too much power, but those pellets will be as flat as a coin, after bouncing of the stop. Highly recommended.
Hi thanks for the video, I want a pistol for shooting in the garden, I am a novice and would like some advice about what to get. I want a pistol, I'm not sure whether to go for a pneumatic one, or co, thinking of on going costs etc. Also I am assuming that I do not need and license to buy one, I am 60 years old? what would you recommend? it is just for recreation in the garden, targets etc, what Calabar? I would like to also buy a used one if possible, my budget is under £100. Thanks for taking the time. ps: what was the distance...?
@@birthing4blokes46 my pleasure. You do not need a license to own a sub 6ft/lb air pistol in the uk. My advice is to do your research and have a look online or find a gun shop or air rifle shop that sells second hand gear. £100 pounds should get you a reasonable second hand cO2 pistol. Hope this helps
I’m intrigued where are you. I think you live close to me. I’d make you the same offer has the other guy. I’ve a few nice guns you could use and revue.
I was hoping to be able to get down and do a couple of shifts once they opened up a bit more. Unfortunately that doesn’t look like that will happen for a while. Hopefully see you down there at some point!
Informative and funny. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Glad you enjoyed it!

That ability to dry fire and train with it is one of the the things that makes this pistol fantastic for its price.
Nice video pal, i had the beeman version of one of these not a bad little plinker, the offer to review my two rifles still stands if you want to, 😁👍
I've a beeman p17 excellent garden plinker, and very similar to the hw40 but much less expence.
Cheers Philip,.

It is a bit of a pain to cock. Great pistol otherwise! Hope your nephew enjoys shooting it! 🤞

Save money on the Beeman p17 with the same performance if not better!!!
If I get the chance I will try and do a comparison. Thanks for the comment!
@@gardenguns No problem at all
You look like Rob Rinder and Charlie Boormans love child.

Any worth value to get the HW 45 instead ?
@@MrKkprince I sold mine and bought a 45! It’s harder to shoot but more fun!
