Trafford Aquatic Network win ASA Club Network of the Year | ASA Aquatics Awards 2016

Trafford Aquatic Network were named ASA Club Network of the Year at the ASA Aquatics Awards 2016.
Trafford Aquatic Network work closely with the clubs and leisure trust, and have a strong development plan agreed by all clubs which focuses on strengthening the athlete pathway from Learn to Swim and school swimming, to clubs and performance squads.
Trafford Leisure operate a course calendar including coaching, officials training courses and CPDs. The network has worked hard to break down traditional rivalries, facilitating a coaches forum to support the development of club coaches and volunteers.
The network has also created a development squad to bring potential new swimmers together, running quarterly development galas for all the clubs and ensuring the competition calendar accommodates for all levels of swimmers.
