Always dreamed of surfing Australia. I had a great friend from Down Under years ago named Russel Hughes. He spent some time in Laguna where i lived at the time, before his early passing. A truly great surfer and a really great person. Aloha from the Big Island, where there is no surf, ever!

That's so consistent out there that there were 3 different waves and 3 different rides in wave machine-like conditions.! It reminded me of The Ranch in Central California a bit. I wish I knew the name of this surf spot...

It looks so easy and such fun from the car park. If you aren't highly familiar with it it is anything but; and as for getting in and out on the rocks...

@@barnyrubble7863I grew up pre super bank on gold coast. I remember it becoming a thing. It is boring and lacks energy unless cyclone. Plus 1000 people out. With some omph behind her, (cyclone or big swell) she is quite fast, fun and powerful.
Mind I like slab waves and Goldie just so isn't.
