Bill Frisell is my absolute favourite guitarist. One of the only (older) jazz players utilising effects, but he's also an amazing acoustic player. Not so many players are truly at home on electric and acoustic. Maybe Richard Thompson, too
Congrats on 10 years guys! I was one of those people in the early days who noticed guitars and amps behind the garage popped up a bit and knocked. 😁 And I think I might have the record for fastest sale if you count consignments. Back in the basement/garage days, I walked up at the same time as another regular. Mike was out front. The other regular was carrying a gig bag, looking to consign his guitar. I said “what is it” - it was a Squier Pro Tone lefty and I said I’ll take it. Deal done. 😁 Love you guys - thanks for being the enablers you are!! 🎸 🎶 ❤️
I am the proud new owner of that '79 Greco Go 1500. I searched for that guitar for 25 years, and I can't thank you gents enough. It shipped fast, it was packed perfectly and the guitar is even better than you described. May God richly bless you and may your shop grow and grow!
Recently bought a 2005 Gretsch G6128t-1962 double-cut Duo Jet from M&Ms. Their assistant Izumi was extremely helpful in reviewing the guitar with me over the phone, specifically taking the time to go over all the neck details and answering my questions. Great customer service, I'll be sure to visit if I'm ever in the Pacific Northwest! - Joe from CT.
If I had my druthers, I'd talk Twilight Zone all the livelong day. Just hours of content about The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street and Walking Distance.
@@MMGUITARBAR there are SO MANY great episodes! Literally, every one is gold, but I like A Stop at Willoughby and The Midnight Sun because they're mind F-s 🤯
Thanks for answering my question! To answer my own question, the most amazing guitar shop I have ever been to is Davidson's Well Strung Guitars. I highly recommend visiting if you ever make it to Long Island, NY. It is breathtaking to see their vast array and quantity of the best vintage guitars! :)

Josh Scott sees this video and screams in horror that he couldn't get the Big Muff box.
"He's got the box!"
I remember the garage. Such a fun part of your journey.

Best J Mascis impression ever! And PT...wow. He's my favorite all time. Do this often. Loved it.

Thank you! Honestly couldn't believe we found one of the 1500s. What an absolutely wild instrument, and so glad you ended up with it.

Thanks, Joe! We love Izumi. They're one of the brightest stars in the Guitar Bar galaxy. And that Duo Jet is a beast!
Okay, there NEEDS to be another one. This was very fun to watch!
Congrats guys. Here’s to the next 10 and the next 10 …
Loved this video
Long live Mike and Mike and Mike and Mike's ☝🖖🤘
So glad to have come across y’all on tumblr so many years ago! Congrats always on your successes
I'm always happy to see you out there kicking ass
More Star Trek questions, you had my interest, but maybe Twilight Zone and you have my attention 👀

Love it. Can’t wait to visit.
I'm pretty sure Mike Campbell has a 'Mello Bar'. If anyone can play one, Mike can.
👏👏👏
"Free sandwiches"?? And NOW you tell me????
Who the hell can afford these guitars?
