It takes practice to stay supple. Life gives us so many opportunities to harden up and tighten up that your self-care practice becomes more essential. If you maintain the suppleness, you may find that that suppleness extends into the rest of your life. That's the beauty of this practice. You can put it to the test. What is the outcome of suppleness that you find from the center on out?
Please let me know if you need any guidance, suggestions of what videos you might want to explore, and I love hearing about aha moments and discoveries that you find in your practice.
      Thank you for your comment.

So glad to hear you are practicing. The careful seeing, the quality of your self-observation allows you to see the progress, and even the set-backs as you journey through this process.
What a beautiful knowledge to know that you can change.
As you practice, consier the places that most like to tighten back up. Experiment with how best to address that place. When my front likes to resist the movements for the front, when it isn't quite ready for the lesson to open, I do the sides to make way of the change.
The sides mediate between front and back. All of it interacts and relates to the whole.
Focus your awareness to have more clarity in seeing the places that need special lessons.
      Thank you for your comment.

The whole rest of the record can play, not just that skip & groove it likes to fall into. ❤

I'm glad that part caught you. I think that skipping in the groove, and wearing the path deep, is something that can limit us in our lives. Whether it is in the area of body tension, or interests in the variety of life. We are so good at making habits.
The challenge is to make 'the alternative to being stuck' rewarding enough that the brain wants to learn the new way. That is why my movements focus so often on taking the constricted spaces and translating them in to easy breathing spaces. The nervous system loves easy breathing.
If you need any guidance on which videos are best for you to explore, please let me know. I also like hearing about the aha moments in your Somatics exploration.
