@whom ever this may concern, all halftime shows in the past 3yrs seems a little watered down FAMU, BCU and TSU. I went to FAMU in the 90's and we worked the field every show. SU been doing the same field show for years but I like SU. I don't know where that comment came from about when SU played FAMU they waxed us lmao hell naw I never saw it research the videos that's posted like I said I never saw SU get with FAMU or BCU. Please show me.

When I look at tapes of the "100", even at our worst we are still the best. It is a proven fact that we are often imitated so much, that other bands actually think that they are in the same league. I expect a lot of negative responses to this post, however they will be alright, once the swelling goes down....:-)
My brother...look at the lines...Not neat at all. Some squads have 4 people between yard lines some have 3...some have 5...that is horrible! During the fast march people are on different feet. Some people's pants are high some are sloppy and baggy. Just the overall presence on the field is 100% SLOPPY.... BUT WHEN YALL PLAY...WOW!!!!!! THERE IS NO SOUND LIKE "THE HUNDRED!" The intonation, articulation, and the voicing/chord structure of yalls music is beautiful. I love the woodwinds in your band as well! Visually "The Hundred" is SUPER SLOPPY. ...but to the ear, "The Hundred" is a SWEET SWEET SOUND IN ALL OF OUR EARS. ...anyone who dislikes the sound of "The Hundred" is a liar and a hater!
Also...just running to your spot for dance routine???? Wth!!??? I am from VA...BCC now BCU OWNS THE MEAC and HBCU BAND PERIOD! They are the epitome of CLEAN BOTH VISUALLY AND AUDITORY! There is literally NO COMPARISON to "The Marching Wildcats!"

ok here goes the truth...it was ok. the concert selection was kool but the transition into the dance routine was sloppy and the ending needed some work (maybe people got just a lil bit too excited). the sound was ok but we need to start looking at some of the things the hundred did in the past to help shape our future. Its too much talent on that field to not have it together. We need to play like famu and imitating anyone else because thats what it sounds like. #M100strong R.I.P Robert Champion

The standing band or like it. Lots of brass playing loud (not well or in tune) I mean if the crowd likes it that’s good not a performance to be proud of skill wise though

FAMU dance so much because they can't march and drill on the field. The 100 use to drill back in the day. Today all they do is dance. All bands can dance, but all CANNIOT drill the field. Just calling it as I see it. No disrespect to you guys.
FAMU and BC aren't marching bands. They are really just a dance troupe that occasionaly plays a musical instrument during their performance. Just as your football team doesn't deserve to be on the same field as ours, your band shouldn't even be allowed near ours.

FAMU has been doing this for decades, everyone else just followed suit only recently. Marching 100, THE ORIGINATORS OF BAND DANCE ROUTINES PERIOD.
I did not go to FAMU however, I did go to AAMU and my sister went to SC St. We both have respect for all HBCU's cause no body can get down like us.

Look up Norfolk state drumline and Bethune Cookman drumline, they are pretty clean. Also SCSU. They are the cleanest HBCU drumlines
