THE SOUND: This Bands SOUND is INCREDIBLE. It is so good to see the work put into actually playing the instruments with accuracy and purity of sound. We love the dancing, don't get me wrong, but nothing beats the SOUND of a band that has truly REHEARSED!!!
That sound is what separates The Hundred from everyone else. They don't need to have 300 members in the band to have a great show.
Yes! They sound like they did in the 70s and 80s. They didnt have a tone of horn players back then but they sounded great. They had 5 drum majors and 16 tubas. They, as my sister said, marched all over TnSt .
A cheerleader, cell phone, throwing out the trash, and a tank... The 100 never fails to put on an entertaining show. Another W for FAMU at halftime... Maybe next year BCU lol!!!

It's close, but doesn't give you chills like before. They had a Great Show though and I enjoyed the song selection along with the formations.

Come on back 100!!! I see it slowly but surely....the sound in there...I think the drive, the intimidation and the entertainment is almost back to where it was. The band still looks new...2 more years I see the back to where they were.

I had to come and check this out again. Man I love how FAMU aimed the tanker and shot a missile straight through BCU band. That was EVERYTHING!

Marching 100 sounds sooooo good! The quality is there regardless of the size! That's why the stand out because they are true musicians not JUST entertainers like that other band 😂😂😂

Big improvements! You guys are getting back to what the 100 used to be.
Don't go to either school, but being honest FAMU started this. They I invented it, BCU took it in a different direction.

The 100 took this one. BCU was solid but brought NOTHING NEW or INNOVATIVE with the exception of the Wildcats in cursive that took too long to make out. In addition, Cookman's balance and blend is AMAZING. It's Too bad NOBODY knows what they are playing. Their Dance Routine act had elements and songs from FAMU's Classic Show from last year.... Lol

The difference was CLEAR! 100 was the best hands down! HUBBA!
If Cookman finds a new arranger they will be EVEN Better. The 100's trash can ICON and Tank shooting BCU in the end zone was EPIC and had a Greater Impact than anything Cookman did. I mean how many times can u spell BCU and float it down the field. Time for something new. Lol

Oh My Damn! I've been watching Famu all season long... Was just in Tally at one of their practices right before the Savannah game and they sounded good then... But ummm I think they flipped the switch for The Florida Classic!!!! This Sounds like the Marching 100 from the Early 2000's!!!! Idk what's going on but keep it up & give all the HBCU Bands something to talk about cause judging by some of these comments, lmao* Sum of these people Hott!!! Good show though this unit can honestly do without the props. I hear the improvement with sound quality despite the blaring tempo hear and there, but I expect greater gains next season. Thank you Hundred.

I see glimpses of the old 100 but not quite there yet. They lack the energy. I did like the concert #. I always like when marching bands sing. it was just ok, sorry :-(

Their sound is not better than BCU. Cookman sound is very clean.
Y'all need to stop making y'all shows based off where the band is going to stand. If the band didn't stand there, that misshaped tank wouldn't have made sense. It was creative tho.

Both bands were good but my vote goes to the 100... BCU's show was good but lacked energy and was rather boring... These are the two best HBCU marching bands so it's all love, the 100's sound will always separate them from everyone else!!! #RattlersForLife

Southern just plays loud and they can't touch BCU's sound, tone quality or balance either so they'll go in at number 3 for me.
We need our old announcer "Horatio" back. He complimented that band like no other.
