Looks like a winner. Why is it that every sub $400 printer is referred to as a beginner printer? Budget friendly is more accurate.

No enclosure probably. You can’t reliably print higher end materials.

What's the dimensions of the A1 with the AMS Lite attached on the top please? They don't have that info on their website and I've got a specific place in mind for mine.

I bought 3 of the P1P and was contemplating the AMS for them. This A1 came out and with the AMS priced below the bare P1P, I ordered one and got it 2 days later. At the speed and quality of these Bambu Lab they are equivalent to 3 of the best Creality Ender 3 so well worth it for me.
maybe bambu will look into a home print waste recycler after they put out an A1 XL

Banbu has pissed me off, but my nephew loves me. I bought the a1 mini with the AMS, and I love it, so now my nephew is getting an a1 mini, and I am spending 399$ for a new a1

@TheRealSamPrentice I like it but my main problem is the waste. Lots of poop. At the moment I have so little waste and seeing all that poop makes me cringe a bit. Obs printing a model in parts helps alleviate that problem but the eco warrior in me dies struggle with the waste of the multi colour prints

Filament and nozzles
Nice prints, man. I have a question, how did you get to print at 0.6mm layer height with this printer (as mentioned at minute 5:36 )? what nozzle did you use? Thanks in advance.
0.16 layer height on a 0.4 nozzle was meant to be the the line ;)

I got not 3D printing in 2016 on Creality CR-10. Been hearing so much hype about Bambu I was a little skeptical they could be all that good. This Christmas I got a Bambu Labs A1 and I’ll be damned if I’m too not becoming a Bambu Fan Boy!!! Now want to go get the X1C!!!

Sure it works great to start with, what happens when it clogs or parts break? With other printers that is replaceable/upgradable. Like makerbot or ultimaker, etc there are going to be a lot of these just thrown out after warrantees have expired.
Parts are cheap.. that’s part of the appeal

I'd love to see a review of Creality Sermoon D3 pro. It has 2 independent extruders and also capable of priniting metal filament.
Metal ? I don’t think it does, I’ve seen it in China tho
There is a special filament called ultrafuse 316l. I assume it's a composite material and contains some metal particles@@TheRealSamPrentice
