I don’t mind on the edge but I hate how the bandits can just steal from you without stepping foot into your town. I’d rather if you loose a battle with them they’d nick some stuff and burn your town a little
First play through was on the edge; I survived 3 years before the bandits completely obliterated my (what I thought was a prosperous) town. It’s all rubble now. New play through started.
My first on the edge game ended with bandits showing up and just killing my ox, I'm sure i could've recovered but i had no money to buy a new one amd couldn't build anything
Fighting for your life = Hire Mercenaries for every fight, (No Archer) this is really-really fun. I never met a game with this design; such as City Building, Resource Management, Exploration (Bandit Camp), especially The Combat! Total War-like system which have a serious outcome!
Remember when the developer said this was primarily a city builder, I have deduced that this indeed is a lie, even on relaxed the AI will swing it’s meat hammer at you and fuck you in the ass with 6 full stacks early game.
@@DIFB absolutely great game but that AI will claim the entire map in a few years and already has multiple full stacks before you’ve even built 5 houses 😆

I agree, it’s not like you don’t already have invectives to go clear their camps.
I started my first playthrough on the edge and the other lord attacked me with 13 stacks i fought 3 battle each one for my life

This game has been such a huge disappointment
It launched in early access. My expectations weren't very high. Also one guy made the game.
