@@srikrishna_97 It all comes down to what you are going to use it for and how you are doing financially. I have certainly spent quite a bit more than $800 on my gaming setup but my financial situation allows me to do that and I use it daily, so it makes sense to spend some money on it.

They make the features so like u don’t have to do so much work, example to open the MacBook u don’t have to press the button to open the laptop u just lift it. It’s Simple expensive worth it I’ve been using apple for the last 11 years I’m a fan of it!

OWC is awesome, I've been a fan of theirs forever. I've updated my 2012 Mac mini to the max with a SSD from owc and I can photoshop huge files and do video production without any issues.

Mine came with 4, a week later it had 16gb, even though apple say it only takes 8gb, an ssd is needed for it, but Ill upgrade my pc after the pandemics over and use my old one out of my pc.

It's a different story when you're slinging around 8K video while editing. It's not something the vast majority of users would get into. It's a professional production machine.
@@tomzer1 you can probably do that with 256gb ram. But I understand, more is better. Especially when money is not really a problem.
matthijs_br Yes, that much RAM might be able to hold and play such a huge video file, but you still need the extra space for things like multiple editing streams, effects module plugins, juggling clips and audio tracks, etc., while that video file is sitting in RAM. So having that much RAM may be a luxury for most, but it sure makes editing and wrestling such fat files a lot faster with the elbow room, and not having to touch a drive while doing it. Definitely a pro workspace, perhaps a bit much for a UA-camr, of course. But I do admire iJustine and MKBHD for letting us have a good look at these things outside of pro editing suites at movie or TV production studios 😅
@@tomzer1 it is absolutely nice to get a look at the best of the tech market nowadays! Big hollywood editors are ofcourse using the best possible. As iJustine said herself, it is a bit of an overkill for youtubers. But it can save a lot of time.
