The more I see these videos the more I wonder whether anyone in Russia has any sense of humour, or knows how to smile. The officials are brusque and rude, and the wrestlers all look totally miserable. And then they think we should aspire to be like them!
Dagestan is a strict Islamic Republic in the southern mountainous part of the Russian Federation. Recent attacks on Christian Orthodox churches and synagogues have led to the murder of a priest. Militants in this area are suspected attacking the concert hall in Moscow a couple months ago and killing 140 people. Very few ethnic Russians live there. The area is nothing like the life in Moscow or St. Petersburg and poverty is rampant.
@@fwilliamcony28 Saying this, I can understand. It's like New York is a state, but they are nothing like the people in the city of New York. Russia being the largest country in the world, you would have to understand that there like many countries there are more people from around the world, so you can't just box them all into the name Russian.
