I'm very eager to see this game come to fruition, it seems to have so many details I wish Civ 6 did.
This looks really cool! Shame to have to wait till next year :(
Thanks for this coverage, had no idea about Humankind, as a fan of Civ and these strategy games, now I’m terribly excited for it.
This looks really interesting! I've always wanted to try civ but, as you say, it doesn't feel super accessible for beginners. This might be a good alternative. Gonna have to add it to my wish-list. ^^
As usual with Amplitude games, it is bloody gorgeous. Thank you for this early look, I can't wait to get my hands on it.
The graphics are so breathtaking
Looks like it plays very similarly to Endless Legends with the whole constructions taking up space on the map and resources being used in a similar way. Not that that is a bad thing, Endless Legends is a great game but I wonder how the combat works? That was always my gripe about Endless Legends, army units needing to be equipped to upgrade was awesome, but meant you were constantly going "I now have these weapons what is each good for and how do I get my units to move where I want?". I will be keeping an eye out for this as it moves on and I hope it doesn't fall foul of "sameness" that other Civ based 4X games do.
More info on combat down the line, currently it's a 3 turn skirmish that then resolves with remaining 'losing' units running away if not defeated. But is being reworked so didn't see a point in mentioning too much - also no big footage to put alongside it. Also doesn't let you retreat from battle more than a set number of times per turns so if you retreat but the enemy pushes for another battle, you have to commit. No idea on upgrading units though as early game didn't show that, but there were better units tied to technologies e.g. archers.
I'm so excited it looks amazing both visually and game play.
Lovely art! looks pretty rad
Let's go let's go let's gooooo
yog trailers are back.. lol
Aww man it looks so good, I can’t wait to get the ps5 and the last of us 2 aswelllll!!!!!!
Always happy to see Hannah back on my feed
I've been WILDLY busy but hopefully a few bits of content coming up over the summer alongside existing plans...
@@Lomadiah Yaaaay!
Interesting means of balancing. Of course there's always the opposite way where if nothing is balanced means everthing is equal.
Ahhh Hannah I love you so much for raising awareness for certain groups, I can’t wait for your last of us 2 playtrough
TLOU 2 just came out! Will Hannah be playing it?

Looks like an interesting game. Not sure how the portrayal of Harappans as not having an effective military is very accurate. A lot of assumptions like that about cultures turn out to be wishful thinking. There is at least some evidence that they had adequate means of defending their cities which probably also means warfare was a common occurrence.
Nice vydeo
Are you going to play the last of us 2 ??
Yup, all let’s plays happen over on Twitch which is in the video description! www.twitch.tv/videos/655538907
Are you gonna play last of us pt 2?
Yup, it's over on Twitch :)
