I've only listened to the UA-cam version 😂 but it was perfect. Good job on their part and for switching up the ending too. It's fun to play something new rather then the same old thing every time.

yes! i was live at a concert and didnt know they had a new ending, and i guess i was the first tour they played it. it was so fucking awesome, i searched like a half year for that version :D

For those of you saying this is a terrible performance, you do realize all the pieces of their show are not here? Their lighting makes their shows phenomenal which is obviously not present. Plus this what they’ve always sounded like live, PERFORMING THE SONG! Not recording it from a studio. Have some sense and brains before leaving an ignorant comment.
Plus this is many years after they originally wrote/recorded. It's almost like peoples range/voices change over time.
They a studio band not live . lighting isnt all a band is live . go see a dj if thats what your after .

Music industry does take it's toll on people. I'd imagine now we're in an period of history where lockdown and the pandemic has any touring plans to bed (at least in the UK), it may give a lot of musicians time to recuperate and regenerate their bodies and minds, whilst also having a jam in their own time and take down notes for ideas they may use for future albums and projects post-pandemic. I do hope he, among many other musicians who have been through issues with their mental health, is better now at the very least.

Why is everyone chatting shit? It's a good performance, of course it sounds different since it's at a festival, not one of their own concerts. The synths are different to the studio recording because live mixing is a pain, especially when other bands are coming on and off stage and the acoustics aren't like a closed space
It is still amazing and es are defo one of the best live bands and if you see them on there tours it is a whole different ballgame

They've been playing this song that way since 2011/2012 I'd say. They seem bored by it which is understandable as they play it at nearly every single show since 2003.
