We know that for each series there is a team behind everything that is created, but we can't believe how they let these horrible designs slip through the cracks.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

As a kid I always hated the costumes that have too much white on them and not enough of their actual colors. Although I didn’t think the costumes in lightspeed rescue were too bad

Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed and Operation Overdrive were all just horrible.
Mighty Morphin were the best.

When you say the suit designers are you referring to the people that worked at Toei? Because (almost) all the Power Rangers suits come from Super Sentai

I think you didnt know wtf is sentai. Well you cant blame the suit design on sentai because the suits are perfectly fit for their series aesthetic.
Lost Galaxy had the Charlie Brown emblem on the front. That is all I could see.
I mean some of the design updates they used were PR originals. Most of the suits are from the respective Sentai seasons so PR really can't do much about that.
I don’t hate the arrow admittedly I get what the people behind Time Ranger were going for. The arrows on the suits and helmet were clearly represent the arrows on a clock which is a big thing involving time travel.
To me the ugliest suits were probably the Dino Charge suits. The main teams at least. Those were WAY too busy. One shoulder pad and only getting the second one in a power up. Resulting in the arm changing colors. And the big yellow sash in the middle. I get it was put there cause that was the first season in PR and the first in a LONG TIME in sentai not to have a yellow ranger but it ruins the overall look of the suit and I can’t help but stare at it for the wrong reasons. It looks better on their extra rangers though.

I'm sorry, there is so much to heavily disagree there, first you state this isn't blaming the costume designer but the top head, but proceed to stiff said designers on the "so called" horrible choices in an ablit lazy and bored manner.
And most don't even hold up to PR's standards because the suits are sentai first and foremost, and it makes sense for them than pr. The in Space suits are computer & internet based, I'll agree with the multicolored squares on the chest though.
Lightspeed Rescue motif was that the chest was to look like a siren as an emergency squadron and the gold is meant to signify the golden designs as seen on ambulances and firetrucks to represent courage/bravery.
Time Force was meant to be clocked based, this is just blaintant nitpicking, I may come to an understanding for beast morphers and PROO (BTW, its Mercury Ranger, not Silver, sure silver is his designation, but isn't called Silver ranger) but your direction and execution was middlingly stale it bogs down this as a whole.
Leave the suit critiquing to Linkara, he's better at this.
I do agree the Light speed suits is low tier but the team was Top tier

Just throwing this out there.. the American shows didn't have original costume designers. These costumes came from the Super Sentai show

I don’t think any ranger suits are ugly per say, but the ones I like the least are the Alien Ranger suits. They just feel bland and generic.
But the suit design are 90s themed ninjas... The Alien Rangers was horribly done for season 3.5

I pretty much disagree with almost all your choices. Time force suits looked awesome IMO as well as OO's suits. I initially didn't like lost galaxy with the charlie brown like zigzag but once i got used to it i liked it. The Zeo suits are hard to dislike if you understand the shape and machine theme it has going. I dunno i feel like there are way worse suits to pick. I feel like the Zyuohger suits are like the worst in SS history. Was that season adapted to power rangers. Or Avataro Sentai Donbrothers - OMG My eyes!!!

Um correction, Tyzonn was not supposed to be silver. He was the MERCURY ranger.

I think this is subjective as the suits is only compatible to the original Super Sentai. Like the "In Space", the Super Sentai content of that PR is Denji Sentai Megarangers - which focus on all technologies that time. Definitely, that is NOT a space suit. Example, the "Operation Overdrive", why is it the worst suit? because it didn't meet the actual theme of the Super Sentai Gogo Sentai Boukenger. That logo is a compass - meaning they are adventurers. For Bouken Silver - that matches a separate theme to the main 5 - which is rescue. The problem is not in the suits - it is how PR interpret it, resulting to bad representation or let's just say a mismatch with the theme Super Sentai shows and on the Power Rangers.
I clearly feel this is a troll video u don't noting about sentai because these are made for what the show was over there but what I don't understand how u say time force suit was bad it one of the most iconic suit that why I don't understand western fans always ruin sentai with this God awful list

The 90s Ninja Rangers, from the movie, immediately following Mighty Morphin were my fav sub-franchise. However, I think the modern day version of those costumes would have less fabric and be more form-fitting.

Zeo,lost galaxy, ninja steel,samurai has the ugliest costumes more than jungle fury. Dino fury suits are ugly and that female green ranger is woke so they get more thumbs down

They have no choice in the way the suits look they are sent over from Japan but I do agree that for it's super Sentai counterparts the people in super Sentai could have designed the a tiny we bit better.
These suits all match the Sentai on which the season is based. The Sentai Mega Ranger on which In Space is based is Video game theme.

The neo saban era does it good as well, except the Dino charge( that yellow stripe with an imitation of dino's teeth killed me)
For me the most ridiculous suits are from the original saban era( zeo, lighspeed rescue, time force), but I like very much the Turbo suits😅

I think they were some of the best. Certainly the most expensive-looking. They were also the most adult-looking. No spandex, etc. It was the closest to actual armor we've ever seen rangers have/wear. Althought...the pink ranger did loom magenta, lol
