About Bridgerton: Bridgerton is an upcoming American period drama streaming television series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. The series based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels, that follows the competitive world of Regency London high society. Julie Andrews will voice the pivotal character of Lady Whistledown. The series is set to premiere on December 25, 2020, on Netflix.On July 20, 2018 Netflix announced that Shonda Rhimes will produce Bridgerton series based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels, while Chris Van Dusen will be showrunner. asmr
On June 19, 2019, Julie Andrews was cast as Lady Whistledown, the narrator of the series. On July 10, 2019, it was announced that Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page will play leads, while Jonathan Bailey, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh and Polly Walker was cast in as regulars. Second! 👍🏼 It’s bad enough about the whole Michaela twist, so I hope the next two siblings’ stories do not deviate much at all from the books (Benedict and Eloise).

They need to do some major reconstruction for Francesca's story line. I think Michaela needs to get married and have a son, for it to work.
Didn't care for Benedict's.story line in the 3rd season, I've read the book about Benedict, so I look forward to that as the book was wonderful.

I do not like this showrunner . A pity the first one appears to be too expensive. It make sense to get a less talented one I suppose but not good for the series. Gender Bending for a series of books about😢 heterosexual love is ridiculous. I wwas looking forward to Michael especially but alas he is now to be Michaelia. What a farce
Well I want Benedict and Anthony moments along with Kate need more screentime with all three please and see baby Edmund please!!!!!!
I read the book there is No Gay love. It better be like it was written. The time line is off because in the book it was before Colin. I will not pay Netflix to watch it if it’s turned woke!
