They're very good but sadly they didn't last very long.

Sinceramente no había escuchado ésta banda porque me había centrado en otras de Melodic Death Metal y Technical, pero realmente me impresionó ésta banda, ahora la estoy escuchando más seguido.

Heard this song on the Napalm Records sampler disc (from Paganfest) and instantly fell in love with it. Good stuff!
Symphonic metal was started by X-Japan and Savatage or at the very lest paved the way for it. They both put out albums in the late 80's and early 90s that had many many Symphonic elements in it. X-Japan used a whole Orchestra. So really the genre stated from Power and Prog metal.

This is not an example of anyone in metal...but I used to listen to American pop singer Anna Nalick (she's kinda come back from an absence recently with a new look & sound), but when she came out with the second official video from her debut album, she wrote that her "lungs were raw from constantly singing" during the filming of the video for exactly that reason - she wanted it to look authentic rather than lip-syncing. Don't know any other examples of people who flat out said they DID that...

Well I read a lot of comments saying this band sounds nightwish alike, I must say yes and no. yes, cuz they sound as amazing as nightwish doth and NO. Is kinda same Genre but no way to sound like NW! Great vocals, great vid too. Gotta buy this disc for sure. :)

I am not going to compare this to anyone. To do so takes away from the talent that is displayed here. I Like the sound they have, and the vocals fit it nicely.. Sorry But I really do believe people compare to much to other bands, and that takes away from the band that you watch, either you like it or you don't same with all genres all bands... Take it for what it is.. This is good...

Yeah Epica,Haggard and specially Therion are some on the top of symphonic metal!! And even though The Wanderer its only their 2nd album I think they will soon be on the top!! Im not sure if theyre already elite but they are for sure much better than most and like only 1 little step far from elite! Oh by the way since you love DIM there is another new band that you should totally check,Whyzdom! They are on the same level to Dim and amazing. I already love Diabulus in Musica!

I so agree with you! Lately ive been wanting to post a super awesome comment like yours about Diabulus in Musica!! Well I think actually I posted it another video of theirs. Yeah they are one of the best new bands to arise these last few years,along with Whyzdom (another awesom band) and yeh theyre as awesome as epica or theyre definately close to their level..and this is just their 2nd album so im sure they will reach it soon! & yes Zuberoa is among the bests,she is in my top 10 singers! -)

En cuanto a lo de Bebe, bueno, esa mujer es muy profunda, sus letras son sobrecogedoras, pero eso no basta para ser disco del año, el factor más importante es la composición, y Bebe ahí la verdad, poco puede hacer comparado con Diabulus, claro está....esperemos que en España se les de una buena publicidad =)

@Griefshire16 I meant to say she is as good or almost as good as "Simone" not Epica haha but yeah theyre awesome,you should check St. Michael's Nightmare (the song before it in their album Secrets,I cant remember the name haha) and New Era just to mention a few!!
the drummer is the only who is actually doing anything. Even the singer is probably mouthing everything in playback, not actually singing to the camera

@NerdyGirl415 People need to make comparisons; of course, when it comes to Nightwish (especially Tarja's time with the band), people can be a bit overzealous in their comments.
I find this is like Nightwish mixed with a bit of Evanescence, almost. That keyboard work, though, definitely sets it apart.

The keyboard definitely makes it better, and the vocals I think they don't have lots of expression but in the case of this song that is something really good, all blends together nicely to make something special and not just a copy of epica or evanescence like most of the bands with this style

Oh yeah I agree. NeverWorld's End was amazing album..but I think The Wanderer is better..it suspassed it. I mean I absolutely love both the same but I think Wanderer is a little better. Choirs are one of the things I love the most in music..thats why im recommeding you Whyzdom they are another new band that are big with choirs!!! I think theyre both in the same level but I love Dim a little more. Anyway I think its great we're both supporting an amazing band like Diabulus in Musica! :)

Diabulus in Musica ISN'T Nightwish, ISN'T Epica, ISN'T any other band. Their music is original, they're bringing new things to the symphonic metal style and they are doing great! Deny this is a mistake. They are growing and each day they will make us surprises.
And yeah, Haters, you can like both bands without fear. Good music was made to be heard!
some singers do sing, to actually show in the video how they actually sing. Mouthing doesn't look real. If a singer sings a C6, probably their necks muscles will be contracted so much that you can see, she'll close her eyes and raise her head. Just by mouthing the singer can't show that, so it doesn't look real. Therefore some singers sing instead of mouth the words, even though any sound they produce isn't being used.
So Epica fans are supposed to like this. Well, I don't know about the rest of the album but this song didn't catch my attention, and Epica is my favorite band...
HereticPoltergeist CA I think they are two completely different styles. Personally I prefer DIM, but each to their own I guess. :)

Epica is not even metal. DIM is actual symphonic metal. Epica is trashy pop with occasional heavy guitar.
try their song Earthly Illusions the comments on that is mostly people comparing them to epica lol this song is a bit different
