@@rodneysworld8328 The arrangement actually sounds amazing with the right balance. If you have more percussionists than strings for Pete's sake (as it at least feels here), and you emphasise the brass way too much (also apparent), it begins to feel shallow, tinny, the snare drums are in line with the strings making them sound awful. It just becomes a mess without the right coordination, for instance having a smaller group might help with fine balance. Also only having one or two percussionists helps a lot. Generally I think this isn't much the fault of the orchestra, more just a combination of the system and the conductor who probably did the best they could.
We've played this in the orchestra I'm in twice... We're a worse orchestra than this one but you can give it more intensity. The director does matter though. For example he started leading in 3, which makes it heavy. If you lead it in 1, emphasis goes on the strong beat, and not 2 and 3 also, and the effect is really nice. Stuff like that. The arrangement is awesome if played well.
Not every orchestra is professional. Without amateurs we don;t have the professional orchestra's dont forget that! And they are playing because they love it, that is the only thing thata matters.
Exact arrangement I needed to listen to, thanks!

Nothing intense, this kind of sucks
I think it might be the arrangement. Also this orchestra might not be professional so give them some slack
