Hello! I am a new Subbie! I just purchased this handbag in August in blackout. This handbag is my 1st Chanel handbag purchase and I absolutely LOVE this handbag! It took me forever to save for it and I am glad I was able to purchase it before a price increase. Something tells me there will be a price increase soon with this fashion house.

I have this exact coco handle as well. Mine I purchased in Jan 2019 so coming up on two years old now and it still looks great. Similar issues to yours but looks no worse at 2 years with slight sag/crease toward bottom corner and the back pocket stretched some. But all in all looks fab! I don’t have a classic flap and not sure I would buy one at this point! I do have a 19 but I love crossbody top handle and honestly it also fits so much and isn’t as puffy as the loulou puffer which is ridiculous level of “puffy” Glad I stumbled on your channel!
That is good to hear it doesn't get much worse. I just ordered a base shaper for mine i hope will help keep the shape better in the long run. I will keep updating over time 💗

I'm so happy it was helpful 😊 If you have a relationship with a chanel sales associate, letting them know what color you are looking for can be helpful in getting your hands on this bag. You could possibly get on a waiting list depending on the colors available for the upcoming season. It is a tricky bag to get for sure

The bag sinks a lot with use. It’s part of the style. With more time, the pink is now closer to the black because I use it more
When you said the bottom settles over time ... I remember watching a video where someone suggested placing the bag on its back or front when it’s not in use.
That's a great tip. If the inserts I ordered for the bag don't help, I will try this xx

What size did you get? I can tell it is not the smallest, but not sure if you got the largest before they stopped making it or the mid size which may now be the largest available...
This is hard to say in Dubai this is called medium. Our coco handle sizes are small, medium, large, but in the US many people call the sizes mini, small, and medium with the new small ones like the black velvet with crystal cc lock extra mini. So it is the US small as people are calling it but it is the Dubai medium. On the website it is just called flap bag with top handle. Hi Morgan, thank you for your video. What’s your opinion on lizard handle? Is it really delicate and fragile?
It is definitely more delicate than the normal leather. If it’s a special occasion bag it should be okay but if you plan to use it frequently I would personally opt for the normal leather handle

Hello, do you have shiny gold hardware or matte? I have the matte and it’s coming off. It’s driving me crazy and I don’t know what to do. It’s such an expensive bag.
Mine is aged gold. I haven’t had any issues with it coming off. I would suggest taking yours into Chanel for repair

What year is your pink? I’m looking at one on Fashionphile that is from 2020. My only reservation is that they have 3 pink coco handles from 2020….. wondering if it’s a weird color pink😳

It was one of those where it was a lonely piece left at the store a couple seasons after the collection came out and that’s when I bought it. I only stated memorizing the collections my bags are from more recently because I realized people will ask me. I do know my small light pink coco is 20a and my Barbie pink small coco is 21p. Not sure if they are in this video but they are on my IG 💕

Try not to open the bag the way you do at this 9:39.. You will get creasing on the front of the flap
I see what you mean. This is just how I open it if I do not have a place to set it down to open it, like when I need to get my house keys out xx
@@MorganBrittButler yeah just thought to share.. Bc its exactly what happened to my trendy cc.. Now I can see creasing even when the flap is closed... Not pretty 😭🙈

The trendy is such a beautiful bag, but I never went for it because I was worried about how the lambskin would look over time considering it is a larger bag. I hope there is something Chanel can do to mend it. Have you tried taking it in to the store to show them?
