Hi guys!
It was soooo nice to be able to experience a 'Canadian Christmas' with my family again after almost 5 years. It was even more special this year, since this was my and Kyuho's first time celebrating Christmas in Canada with my family. We went Christmas light viewing, baked Christmas cookies, opened gifts by the tree on Christmas morning, and had my family members over for a delicious turkey dinner. I honestly can't remember a happier Christmas Day than this; it was just amazing and so much fun to spend it all together.
We hope you guys enjoy this vlog, because we had a lot of fun filming and putting this one together, haha.

I spent my Christmas in Korea with my Korean fiancee. I really want to take them back to Canada and have them experience their first Canadian Christmas as well! Its so nice to see you two having a lot of fun and enjoying the time, it makes me look forward to the future for myself. (Also yay Newfoundland chocolate haha I didn't even know we had that kind of store)

Hayyy! 😊 Haha yess, she LOVES that string! We actually felt really guilty that we didn't buy her a toy for Christmas, but that gold string that one of my gifts was wrapped in was probably the best toy she's ever received, lol.

well i heared kinder egg is forbidden in US because they think kids are not smart enough to know that they shouldn't eat the surprise haha but since you got some it seems like canada knows better

To be fair, they were banned because the toys needed to be safe for children of all ages (you can't really give a baby one of the small toys because they could swallow them and choke). The U.S. can be a bit of a nanny state sometimes but we're not completely idiotic haha. to canada and usa go all out for christmas and halloween and uk (where i'm from) just say "f*** it" and just put lights on the bushes.
Kinder Surprise are illegal in America because apparently the toys inside are a choking hazard for children.
The Christmas lights in Halifax were so beautiful.Thank you for sharing the cookie making,the present opening,the prepping of the feast etc.As it was 86 degrees here,I cooked my turkey outside.I know it was warm up home.Happy new year kids!!You are like family to me and I look forward to your Sunday posts.Oh yes,Seoul looks like a fantastic city.
Holy moly, 86 degrees on Christmas sounds perfect! It was around 13 degrees and sunny here on Christmas Day, so we went on a walk to soak it all in. Thank you so very much--Happy New Year!! 😊

Ohh, I thought that was likely the reason, but I was still kind of confused since it seems very obvious the toys shouldn't be given to very young children. They should slap an "Ages 5+" sticker on them or something, haha ^^
+2hearts1seoul You'd think it would be obvious! Haha I get that infants don't understand the difference between something you can eat and something you can't, but that comes with anything. I'm surprised they banned it entirely. I don't know anyone who thought the toy was food in elementary school. In fact, the reason you wanted it (apart from the chocolate) was to collect the toys! Haha

Kinder eggs were my favorite. I used to live in Russia and as a little kid I would always beg my mom to buy me them because of the cool toys inside, and the chocolate was so good!! Childhood memories =)
