- Kseniya Simonova is a sand artist. She creates beautiful and touching stories with just sand and her hands.
Sand drawing is a spectacular sort of painting art. The moving sand creates continuously fantastic and poetic figures.
The artist creates sand drawings using a lightboard and an overhead projector. The sand animated images are projected in real time on a wide screen.

I used to watch these on a kids show when I was 3-4 then it just disappeared from my mind..this has literally brought back so many memories of long nights when I was sick and couldn't fall asleep and the drawings are so well done it's really beautiful

Wow I can’t believe so many other people used to see these videos as a child. Me too. I could look at them for hours. I have always loved romanticism and I am a romantic myself. As a child I was known for my love for fantasy and drawing, being really creative and I still am. I draw characters I love/relate to, or nature. Sand art is so beautiful and romanticizes even the saddest things, it makes everything gorgeous. Ugh

everytime i see these it reminds me of the hospital every dang time. they would make me sit and watch it until i fell asleep. nonetheless the art is quite satisfying and good
Great work but the video is way too fast. I prefer the sand art videos that are slower so we can appreciate the art.
