- Battlefront 2 updates may be ending, but that’s actually a great thing for the modders, who won’t have to update their mods anymore! I know that mods will keep coming out, and I most certainly will continue to make recreations, Weekly Mods videos, and much more in the future! The Battlefront Modding Community is the future.

Honestly this is great for modders i appreciate every one of y’all bc you guys keep the fandom alive ,but Dice delivered poorly on the scarif map like I expected to be different than the 2015 version like maybe they might let us go to the vault where wren urso was at least i mean they already added ewoks which were never on scarif in the first place no respect for the canon.

I’d love if Dice implemented a way that consoles can use mods it would definitely keep the game more than alive. Obviously ban people who use things that change abilities online like PC I’d just love to use all these skins it’d feel like the game is still updated

For those of you asking about mods on console, until there's a way to download and save files (file explorer), there can't be mods.
The process goes like this, for those who may not understand:
1) Download the Frosty Mod Manager (Already an issue; as stated above, this can't be done on console)
2) Extract the files in the zip
3) Run the application as an administrator
4) To select BF2, you have hit "new" when you launch and find Battlefront in you PC's files
5) Download the mods you want, and save them in another folder
6) Import them to the manager, and click "launch"

Hopefully the modding community can do what it did for skyrim and keep this game alive well after either a new games out or this franchise (battlefront) is dead, because I don't have a gaming pc but when I do get one I'm deafeningly getting this game because the mods will make it even more worth it.
The way the clone wars blaster shots dissipate in the mod reminds me of fallout 4 laser weapons lol

Hey I was the one who made the clone wars blasterbolts and there was a few things I needed to change on my mod page but I have 2 versions, 1 with a stronger glow and I guess more colorful bolts for those who like that and also a less colorful more accurate one. So the closer to show one and a slightly brighter one. Vehicles I am working on now and should be done soon and my mod aims to make the bullets look closer to the battle of cristophsis style from the clone wars movie. Not 100% accurate but I did the best I could with the tools we are given

Question: Can you only replace heroes by new ones like Plo Koon or can you also create a new hero? Maybe with the abilities of others but does that work, too?
Or could you create some skins for (f.e.) arc troopers like fordo?
Great question, you’d have to edit over current playable hero and character slots unfortunately
