I first saw this movie when I was a young adult. It scared me so badly I didn't want to go out in public for a long time. (I did of course) It seemed to me to be such a foreign concept, mass murder. Nowadays it's happening every week and doesn't seem to faze us (me) like it used to . So sad, that.
I was there that day. Coming out of a history class, I thought the noise was boards falling from the top of a building that was under construction. I heard it continually as I walked down the Mall, with my back to the tower! The man who later became my husband was also there that day and thought the same thing!
I also saw this movie when I was younger when it first aired. It creeped me out, and it really made me aware of what some people are capable of doing to others. Very sobering.
I don't know what movie that is, but this was a made for TV movie. Some of the major motion pictures that came out in 1975; Jaws, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, French Connection II, Rollerball, The Stepford Wives, Dog Day Afternoon, Cooley High, The Hindenburg.
Yes and no. It was the best they could do with the budget and time restraints to make the film. It was probably not even feasible to round up 1960's era police cars. First thing I noticed that all the police cars were mid 70's ones.
Adrian Alvarez w/c one? Cuz Link's in description And the Warner Bros are way too old or dead to handle a UA-cam channel and reply you back. So I got your back Adrian
I knew a kid with blonde hair and blue eyes, same surname. I think it was German. If so motives could have stemmed from WW2. But only if his father was German or Dutch.
I first saw Russel on Saturday morning TV in the mid 1960's. He did commercials for Mattel's line of Zero M secret agent toys.
Russell was brilliant in this.

Can't believe this was the same year as The Strongest Man in the World.

Oooohhh, the Disney film with Kurt Russell!!
Now I remember...
Ha ha ha!.
I also forgot to add Race With The Devil in my favorite '75 list.
You gotta give Russell credit, he wasn’t worried about his image. He was willing to try anything as an actor
Russell was/is an extremely versatile actor. He did the best Elvis movie that’s for sure, then followed up as Snake
I remember watching this on TV movie based on real incident it was deep intense watching Kurt Russell , play Charles Whitman .
This is the same actor who performed the title role in The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes.
Oh, that poor mother...
That guy reminds me of Snake Pliskin.
It's like they're the same person 😂
“I don’t give a fuck about your war...or your president.” -Charles Whitman
I heard he was dead.
That was epic
I developed ptsd from this at age 5 after my stepdad made me watch it.....
I’m not kidding
Keep your children away from morbid shit!
No Knifes We’re Harmed In The Making Of This Video
Pre-Steadicam tracking shot!
Hell yeah!
Is this really the best they could imagine the event.
Lesj Conj Almost, just lacked some real details, and kinda upsetted Officer Martinez during the release

The actor of Charles Whitman is the one and only Kurt Russell.
The policeman?
That's Richard Ygnieguez [spelling?]
He made lots of appearances in TV shows in the '70s
Good actor.
You’ve got to be kidding me.
