Top Three Fishing Hacks! - Simple & Sweet

  • In this video I demonstrate my top three fishing hacks. The first fishing hack consist of utilizing a dental floss container to hold your hook while you synch down your knots, you can then conveniently use the cutter to trim your tags. The second fishing hack involves using a wood handle/stick and a couple of bottle caps to make the perfect fish descaler. This really comes in handy for you pan fisherman. The best part is it only takes a few minutes and cost next to nothing to make. Last but not least, the third hack consist of using a safety pin to make a new rod tip, we have all broken a rod tip at one point or another, this hack will show you how you can quickly and cheaply fix the tip so you don’t lose any time on the water. I hate b cos, 1.false security, make sure you hold that floss container tight and that not going to work with everything, 2.use the blunt side of your knife or something else, 3.seriously time to go home, y u doing that anyway. using second eyelet not going to hurt that much. repairing that properly going to make it harder

The old timers have been doing that for a couple decades, it's definitely nothing I came up with.

For the first one i though you were going to trade the floss for leader line and use it as a dispenser, that could work? The only problem might be memory

Good job the first one I have the hook ez I love them. But I'll try that one you did and hey never no. I run a kids non profit fishing group so to learn fishing hacks to teach the kids or adults. Me being disbeled and single parent money's tight. And food and my daughter my bills and my group comes before buying g new stuff so learning a hack yes I like that. Your second I will make them and give to all the kids. And I'll use one also and if you don't mine share on my UA-cam channel and I'll add your name always give credit to the maker. But the 3rd I've seen one on a fishing pole but never done. I've got many broke but usely break more or if I can afford add a eye. But yea now that I no I'll fix some. That way the kids get to use one hacked. Lol. Have a good week great video. God bless

    Awesome scaler and rod tip!
The dental floss case also ingenious. I usually put my hook thru the vent on my knife blade or the hole in the back of a nail clipper I use to clip tag ends. Please do more!

what is the tool on the roll of thread called?

Easiest and quickest way I found to scale fish, is to use a drill with a good sized bit. Hold the drill upside down and flip it in reverse. The scales fly off in no time.

What 'bout the fishing hack where you can use a Close Pin to stick the pin part through the eye of a hook, and you can store hooks easily?
