It's a shoujo anime about a girl named Haruhi who got into a prestigious rich people school through scholarship and cause of a misunderstanding, she accidentally breaks an expensive vase and now has to work in the school's host club to pay for it by pretending to be a boy. Much of the comedy of the show comes from the rich students being super out of touch with how the world works especially when it comes to the not-rich life. Haruhi is just tired of their bs every time lol. Ouran is a really popular anime, especially in the late 2000's when it came out. The show also references a lot of anime tropes cause the host club members are acting out certain archetypes for their fans. If I'd have to recommend one of these shows to you, it'd be Grand Blue. I might be a fan of Ouran but it's obvious that you'd enjoy Grand Blue's brand of humor much more. Still recommending the ED songs for Inuyasha. The songs are good plus you've already reacted to the OPs.

Grand blue is just an anime about diving 😂 but honestly you'll be laughing the whole time you'll watch it if you don't take everything too seriously. Just enjoy the show for the mess it is. It's a 9.5/10 for me. A new season is coming in 2025 after 8+ years if I'm sure. You can watch it and react to the season 2 when it comes out.

15:50 plot twist that was not a bar, actually it was a diving equipment rental shop (I think that was it, but definitively that isn't a bar, even it looks like a bar) I love grand blue, it is my favorite comedy anime (even over konosuba) and it is from the same author from my 2nd favorite (that was dethroned by grand blue) "baka to test to shokanuu". My favs scenes in grand blue are those scenes with the oolong tea and the water... it is amazing

Reading the Grand Blue manga was the first time I found out that laughing so hard to hurt your stomach was a real thing and not an exaggeration.
A lot of the cast for the Ghost Stories dub are still working today, dub came out in 2005. For reference Ouran dub was 2008.
