Today we're discussing what people who successfully get back together with their ex actually do that sets them apart from people who don't.
I've been working with people since 2009 to get back together with their exes. And I've started to notice a few trends and patterns.
In this video, I'll be sharing 5 common traits in people who have gotten back together with their ex.

@clay Andrews I have pretty much tried everything to try and open my ex up and the last resort I have now is the open door technique... I feel that from the early stages of RtD I fell back to the very first stage and have no answer whatsoever from my ex. Super sad about it but as I always say hope and my strong belief is that never say never and give up unless you truly believe in potentially getting back.
I wish o could have her say ONE word or two so we can at least talk and start from there. Never had big fights, arguments and negative interactions and that’s what has driven me crazy for a long time.
I wish I could start talking to her again, but honestly if it does not happen I still will be ok because I know what I am worth and I deserve respect!
Wish all the best to all that are in this journey to getting back with their person and personally, DO NOT GOVE UP and keep pursuing and chasing what your gut and heart tell you!
I made the mistake of getting too emotional & texting her far too much. She blocked me everywhere. After two weeks of no contact I sent her a book i had bought prior to the relationship ending. She texted me back. Last night we texted a few times. I hope not to repeat my mistakes. I'm not going to push matters. Its crucial she feels comfortable moving towards me. Ill leave her be until she contacts me again. I'm not sure how this will end but i now know how to handle this situation. Be happy within yourself & educate yourself about relationships. Try and avoid getting hurt & emotional.

@@norellmarksalaan9587 I got her back but then I realised we had nothing in common. We drifted apart. Met someone else who I dont think will work out with....finding a long term partner is difficult...im fairly happy being single so I find relationships difficult

My Pop always have told me take your emotions off your sleeve and put them in your back pocket.
Definitely a concept to be considered when dealing with a break up.
And not only that it keeps your dignity in tact.
That's a good insight as well. :-) It helps us to be more in response to the situation instead of being in damage control mode.
Easier said than done . But definitely possible it also makes things easier while you get your bearings together .

I made 2 big moves recently that I believe will help save my marriage. I have been watching collaborative marriage counseling coaches and several single counselors. I had made an ultimatum stating that he would have to be particular ways to be with me or be my friend. I texted and said it wasn't fair for me to do that and I accept him as he is and want to just work on being friends and go from there. I immediately noticed a change in closeness. The 2nd I did tonight. I told him that I understand why he was concerned with getting back together and I understood how he could want to be happy and that's all I want for him. That I too wanted to feel loved and jumping to another person seemed like the easiest way. We both mutually split for lack of connection. Emotional connection is also what I've reasoned as the most critical and essential. Basically what I've learned overall by watching several different channels is sumed up here. This is a very sensible and strait forward channel and I love that. Super helpful. Direct, to the point, honest and intuitive intelligent basis understanding of what and how to be where I want with my spouse in life. Thanks. You do an excellent job. Thumbs up!

I feel like my marriage is being restored. I got divorced a year ago. Initially at the separation, I did not know there was someone else and that they had been around for almost 2 years. That's apparently what led to our problems. It also has caused this reconciliation to take longer.
Just after we separated I sent a picture to him of the jewelery I borrowed. He was angry it had my face in it. Today, I sent one of me in my costume and he replied, "Great picture".
If it was a quick repair, it would be easy to break again. I am learning how to be a better partner to x and we get closer consistently. I believe we will get back together. It is a slow process if done properly but it works very well.
He lives with the woman he left for. I can tell he has doubts. As his friend, he comes to me about his life. All I do now is practice becoming better and wait for him to see I'm the best option. If I feel like giving up I will and I will still be a better partner and better for myself.

Hey Clay! I had 2-3 weeks of no contact with my ex after he requested a "break". We met yesterday so I could pick up my stuff, and he proposed to be friends; I suggested being lovers instead, which we both agreed on and then we had s** the same evening. After that, I realised I could not have this kind of "casual" connection and told him I actually wanted a relationship, which he said he wasn't ready for atm. What should I do now? I feel like I messed it up at our meeting yesterday and lost my chance of getting him back...

Hi Johnny, It sounds like she is putting her guards up. Since she had been declining the invitation to hang out, it is an indication that she may not still be ready to meet up in person.

He likes you, but he isn't ready to make a decision on if the two of you should get back together. If he's at Riding the Dragon or earlier, then focus on building the emotional connection. If he's at Crisis Point, then focus on applying positive pressure to get him to make that decison.

Hi Meghan, After breakup, people would usually say that they wanted to be friends but then, it has some boundaries that goes along with it. It doesn't mean that you are friends, the dynamics will be just the same as it was before. it will still be an adjustment. At times, labeling each other as friends is a way to say that you both are not burning the bridges.

Hi Clay, what do I do if my ex has been in a rebound relationship for more than two months now but he's still been texting me secretly once a week and saying that he's been missing me and our past and yet he's still with her? We broke up in January this year after almost three years of being together and he's been lost and confused ever since, he got in a relationship with this girl even though he had previously said he didn't want to be in another relationship and now this... I've been waiting for months and the fact that he's been telling me these things gives me hope but then again, I can't wait forever...
I’m in the same boat my ex jumped a week after we broke up. Give it time and talk to him and try to connect with him. My ex keeps giving me the run around but I love her and want to marry her.

Hopefully I have faith in the lord even through I did a lot wrong I pray everyday that she is happy even if I ain’t in her life but we do talk. And she loves my son as if she was her own . And I signed up for the ex solution program so it has helped me a lot work on myself

First, you have to be aware of your current status. Both of you are not in a relationship yet but since he is reaching out to you, it can be an opportunity to grow the connection. Remove the rebound from the equation. Focus on between you and your ex but again, be mindful that he is still in a relationship. His attention may be divided. Watch out on your emotions as well.

Hey clay I got a few questions about me and my ex no videos I can find about this maybe we are just different so we split up 2 months ago we both did no contact and I reached out first then she said she had to think about it and didn’t know what she wanted well I had some work to do at her house for her so I did it while she was gone and she was really happy and thankful I have done them and still hadn’t seen each other we text a few times a day after and she told me I didn’t open up enough hitch is true I have never opened up to anyone but I tried but had hard time doing this so I showed up at her house a few nights later to talk we talked I opened up and she was hugging and kissing me not on the cheek on the lips it happened 2 nights in a row this happened hugs kisses holding me next night she had to work so I knew I wouldn’t see her that night but figured she would at least text she text that night before she went to bed and she went to work and got back home I haven’t heard from her since it’s only been a day but not sure why she has went silent I’m confused we’re both stubborn and independent people and make good money and we don’t need each other for financial support

Clay, I was hanging out with my ex today and we've been vibing really well of late. Definitely been some sexual tension, which she has even pointed out. But she says she doesn't want to go down this road again, even though she's calling and texting me almost everyday now. I believe this is what you call the crisis point.

So hey Clay, idk if you'd answer to this but the situation im in is very unique im sure. So I actually fell damn near head over head for this girl was nice for awhile.. i messed up pretty with her. We haven't spoke in over a year now. We are both in relationships i believe she's engaged now. It kills me but knowing she's happy makes me feel okay yano but man would love absolutely love to get back with her. Shes changed me in ways I've never been yano. Yes I'm almost 100%, my situation back then was alot tougher back then, than now with life. Last time we talked we went out, had sex but I feel she more friendzoned me, I told thats not what I wanted so I kinda quit talking to her, she charged the agreement so to speak, stood my ground worked on me alot, didn't even do anytype of social media, I know she still looks at mine.. i know for a fact, absolutely 💯% what we had was really something you know... thanks for responding Clay, I'm just in alot better place than I was back then when I was really trying to get her back i imagine she's moved on but I still drop inside have this feeling that this isn't over.. or maybe they is what I'm just telling myself??
