Also relating to the red revolver, if you fire the red bullet at the first shot of a maurice's volley, the remaining projectiles will be exploded into the face's face, doing a good chunk of damage!
Doing this on any higher difficulty will normally instakill them because they shoot more projectiles. Sadly, this won't work as you are on lenient, very sad :(
Bonus tip edit: If your question is "Can I parry that?", the answer is probably yes!
You can easily tell which attacks are parryable by the sound and spark they make.
Attacks with BLUE sparks and a long, wobbly sound can NOT be parried.
Attacks with YELLOW sparks and a short, high pitched sound CAN be parried.
And of course, all projectiles can be parried and hitscan/lasers can NOT be parried
Another edit because I forgot: Melee attacks without sparks are normally parryable, such as filth, corpse Minos' punches, or any projectile attack. This is not always true, so feel free to experiment but be careful!

I thought I should mention that the screwdriver (railcannon) is REALLY good for beating up Maurice (the malicious face)! If you fling a screwdriver at him and then punch it it's almost always an instakill (in my experience anywho)

Or you could double pump, whiplash, shoot the double pump, punch with KB at the same time, jump and ground slam and keep the railcannon charge for something bigger like the special enemies or a HM
