➡ Check out my New Tool that makes learning Photoshop Elements Super Easy! Here is my video about it on my HTG Photo channel ua-cam.com/video/-cJ2AviZNI8/v-deo.html
Finally a great step by step tutorial that's clear, concise and easy to follow. I've had this bookmarked and saved and always come back to it when I need to!
You're welcome Rich, I have actually used this same technique a few times in my text videos and cards but I keep on seeing this question asked on UA-cam and I never really framed a video directly at the question. George
Awesome video! one thing you didn't touch on is how do we go back to edit the outline after doing the modify>expand. For example if I want to smooth the white border after seeing it applied on top of the background?
Very interesting never really got the hang of masking layers I have been cheating for years I wool try this when back from my vacation and watching on my iphone
Take a look through my previous videos. Using masking layers is one of those must know techniques. I almost always use masks on layers and I also almost always use Blend Modes which is another one of those must know techniques.
Hi Brian, I am using a plain old wireless Microsoft optical mouse, as you say nothing special. But, I use a wrist rest and my mouse pad has a hard surface instead of a fabric surface. Both of those things help a lot. It allows me to move my mouse with just my fingers instead of trying to move my mouse with my whole arm. Going way back to when I was in art school the theory is: large moves use large muscles, small moves use small muscles. George
You're welcome Brian, it all really comes down to technique. The actual hardware has little to do with the results except for a faster computer always being better. I have tried high end mice, trackballs, thumb pads, tablets, but I always seem to come back to the basic optical mouse on a hard mouse pad. The hard mouse pad lets the mouse slide around more easily. George

Double click on the fx icon on the right side of the layer with the outline and it will open the Layer Styles box so you can adjust the border
Fantastic tutorial for making stickers. Thanks so much, George. You have helped me so much.
